The banks are supposed to send your statements within 40 days, but (partly because they are being awkward, and partly because they have so many of these requests), in many cases it is taking a lot longer for them to send out the statements. Phone them and ask if they can ensure you receive them within 7 days, and tell them if they do not comply you will make a complaint to the ombudsman/information commissioner.

There are several websites detailing the various steps which can be taken, try this for a start:

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to ask us. Were you a victim of Identity Theft? If you still have the letter saying they received YOUR letter, then I'd check to for a contact name/number. Call them and see what the status of your situation is. Could be that they're swamped with work, your information is on hold for some reason, or paperwork has gotten lost.

Depends what information you are seeking! Is there a way you can go there to the bank and speak with the branch manager? Then they can help you immediately and in person.

Good luck!

Go to the bank, and speak to someone in Customer Relations.

Rather vague question -

I would call the bank ask to speak to the Manager, and go over what ever it is your talking about.

Write again, or call them, referring to the letter you received from them and tell them you will give them a further 7 days to respond. If they do not, then cancel you account.
