Proof on alcohol is double the percent of alcohol that is actually in the bottle. The stronger end of it is 151 rum, which is 151 proof. There are some higher vodkas. Everclear is 100% or 200 proof grain alcohol but be careful its really powerful. Also there is moonshine but that is homemade you cant buy it. And there is Aysmith ( or something similar) which is a latin drink that takes alcohol to a trippy place.

151 proof rum is the strongest Ive ever had. Most whiskey and rum is either 80 proof or 100 proof. 80 proof is 40% alcohol. 200 proof is 100%.

Strongest distillable is pure grain alcohol which is 96% strong.
As to what is sold in US liquor stores, then 47% Kentucky rye or Tennesy whiskey will be one of the strongest. Generally oveproof rums from Jamaica have higher strength. In Jamaica only yellow label rums have strength of 76-78%.
In general most of the distilled drinks consituted around 40% alcohol. Those are whiskeys, brandys, Vodkas, tequillas, scotch, grappa, eau-de-vie, gins, rums, etc.

Everclear is the strongest but its banned in a lot of states,151 proof rum,100 proof vodka ( and by the way DO NOT drink everclear straight!!!) It will burn the hell out of your stomach and you won't be able to breath for 30 sec. afterwords (from personal experience)

Depends, they can make them to various strengths, eg "overproof" whisky or vodka. It just depends on the percentage of alcohol, which is half the "proof" quoted. I have both whiskey and vodka at 100 proof, i.e. 50% alcohol.

its all in the proof like when you go in to buy it some bottles are 40 proof some are 80 and ive even seen some that are 100.. the higher the proof the stronger the alcohol is.
