If you believe there is a spiritual world, tell me why/how.
Also, tell me if you think the spiritual and physical world
are integrated (the same thing) or separate entities and why.

I think many were brainwashed into
believing there is only a physical
world and many like the idea so
they can feel more in control!

Some people have never experienced an incident that would give them a reason to believe in it. I myself have and therefore I believe.

I think the non-physical realm and the physical realm we live in are connected. I don't know how. One world we have a physical body and in the other we have an ethereal body. As above, so below.

Why is it difficult? I'll tell you why by asking you a question:

Why do you believe a spiritual world exists? You have no evidence beyond a (very subjective) warm, fuzzy feeling. You have no reason except that perhaps your parents indoctrinated you with their beliefs. You have no motivation but for a wish to have the comfort of control over something you don't, won't or are unable to understand.

Why don't I beleive? I don't *need* to believe.

Because the spiritual world is not physical and tangible. Many people only believe what they can pick up and feel.

I do happen to believe a spiritual world exists, just like there are most likely other dimensions that we can't perceive. However, your question was why it's difficult for some people to believe. You might also ask why it's so difficult for some people to believe there may NOT be a spiritual world.

I don't believe because most people who discuss it can't seem to seperate it from emotional/subjective worldview.

They "feel" it without understanding that feeling are chemical reactions in the brain and that our "self" or individual perception is an illusion of the central nervous system. It's a repsonse to stimuli and experiences.

Simple. Because there is no evidence of a spiritual world. Its all in the mind and based on faith. Faith is nothing more than a hope, a wish, a desire and nothing else.

I feel the spiritual world and the physical are integrated and coexist. But there is definitely spiritual and then there is physical...

Because the Spirit is shrouded by the Ego. For a lot of people, if they can't see it they won't Believe it. Since it is hidden by the Ego, for them it doesn't exist.
