This the official structure for typing your hair-dresser. Most shops have a 50/50 split with the stylist so if she cut your hair for $50 then she is only taking home $25. Then you need to wager how complicated your hair cut is. You can gauge it as $5 for every 20 minutes of work. So if you entire experience is color ($70) and cut ($50), then your bill was 120 and she is getting 60 of that. If the time took 90 minutes then you are going to tip between $15 and $20 depending on complexity of style and color

Depends on a lot of things. How much time they spent, what all they did, how much you liked it ect. I tip mine about 25.00 or more, but my haircuts with color is about 60-80. But then again I love my one and only hair dresser!

Here's a question to ponder,.. if the hair dresser owns their own shop say it's in there their home, does this change the tip amount any???????

if it is 100 for my hair i tip like i would a waitress- $20 bucks. heck they just sat and listened to me gossip for three hours i should probably give more!

depends, fantastic sams or other &10.00 haicut house? then 20%.. if u go to a good salon with a lot of expensive services, then about 15-20%.. more depending on service.....
