Wait, wait. You want to be a citizen? Yet when you were here prior, you didn't feel that you had to follow the laws. And now you want help. You know what's funny about this site, is that it's split pretty much right down the middle (republicans and democrats). But I think I wouldn't be out of line in saying that both sides agree with this next statment. You don't feel that the laws of the United States of America apply to you? GO HOME! We don't want you here.

See this is a great example....ME good future citizen, follows rules, has not been in jail, convicted, don't even have a traffic ticket....and here you have the exact opposite. Monica, I think that's what your name is...you are bringing us down...it's people like you who don't follow the rules. Yes, there are Americans that do the same thing that you did but remember we have to prove ourselves more and be on our best behavior. Don't give them a reason to be against us or you really...I'm already a citizen. You shame me really. I thought the idea of coming here was to better yourself not smoke up your chances. TO ALL THE AMERICANS HERE take a look at the difference...don't be ignorant and judge all illegals and all immigrants legal or not just because a few bad apples make stupid mistakes. That is one thing I learned in American schools....don't judge a book by it's cover, don't judge at all! I at least paid taxes, had no medical insurance, everything I paid for was out of pocket, even lunch at school where some Americans didn't have to pay I had to pay, so I didn't freeload and I am doing what my parents brought me here to do....make a better life for myself and do my part in helping America and the world. I think someone once talked about the 3 STRIKES RULE. Where you commit 3 strikes basically be it drinking and driving, assualt whatever....3 your gone!! I kinda like that rule. Maybe it's to many because if you can't stop yourself from breaking one rule then who's to say you'll stop yourself from breaking more. I'm a Mexican, immigrant, now probably legal as we speak, and I have to say that I don't want people like you here....because you are the reason all this started...and I can tell you are here for YOU...to use and abuse...not to better yourself and not to make good decisions for others and for this country. Make your ex-country proud don't trash it up. Try to stay clean for a while.

Based on what I have seen in the past, unfortunately you probably will be approved after a hearing.

If I personally was CIS and you had several arrests, I would decide you have demonstrated sufficient irresponsibility to remain at best a permanent resident and I would consider revoking your green card based on your potential contribution to society considering your education, skills/experience, family, and history.

To obtain your records, you can google "superior court" along with the venue of your heinous crimes of altered consciousness. More likely than not, you will obtain a record with not much detail but it may suffice. If not, at least then you know who to call.

Hopefully you go back to your home country and start a good revolution to free the peoples. In your country you probably haven't violated any laws, a model citizen that came to America and was overwhelmed by the greed and the road to fast money. Next thing you know, a little weed, a little drinking while driving and only the good Lord knows what else. You should just come clean and check the box that says you have committed felonies when applying for citizenship and explain to the immigration man that you didn't really mean to break the law. he will be forgiving and understand that it wasn't your fault and give you papers. good luck.

You can get the info from what ever court you went to, but you might have some problems getting citizenship with the weed charge.

Any Police station can get you a copy of your criminal record. Good Luck, I think that "little weed" may kill any chance you have.
