I have been having recurring dreams about a man probably 4 nights a week for at least 6 months maybe longer... The man in my dream is the guy I lost my virginity to when I was young. The problem is that we are good friends and he had a daughter with another friend of mine. they have been together since 2001 or so. They are not really happy (told to me by the woman) but they are getting married this september. i cant make these dreams stop. I don't know what they mean if anything. I have tried to tell myself that I am over him and that I am happy for them but maybe these dreams are telling me that I am not. I am not trying to be a "homewrecker" or whatever but I just don't see why I keep having these dreams. I don't really think about him during the day...
any advice would be helpful thanks...

This doesn't mean that you want him back. It means that you have unfinished emotional business with him. The dreams will disappear on their own in time. We go through cycles sometimes where we dream the same thing for a period of time.

This is every dream interpeter's dream to interpet. Here in your dream it's pretty straight forward.

Most of the time we dream in symbols, but there are times when our mind will dream litterally and it will be obvious that the dream is exactly what it says it is.

In your dream you are dreaming reacurringly about your ex. Often times the first one or the one we loose our virginity to becomes a big and important part of our lives, i know for me thats true. No matter what we think or how we feel about them they are the possesser of a part of us a part of our soul so they will stay connected to us for life.

This is becuase also you know their wedding is coming up soon, you still have not feelings of love but of familarity towards him because he was your first and is still you friend so your mind is working this all out. It's not anything ot read into after the wedding your dreams should subside. also being a friend you are probably a little concerned subconciously that his soon to be wife has expressed that they aren't happy.

Just clear your mind before bed and think on happier thoughts, he is a friend and nothing more whether he and she are happy is not up to you.

take care

I don't think you should look much into this. Your dreams are probably nothing much but a reminder of a very important phase in your life, when you lost your virginity. It's dangerous for you to delve too deeply into the meaning of such dreams. It probably doesn't mean much at all. If you're not thinking about him during the day then that proves that there isn't much to it . Since he is about to get married, and its an important event in his life, its a reminder of something you shared with him once. Thats about it. Ignore these dreams and move on.

Well maybe its because your heart regrets your decesion from when you were young. Thats a big deal. Maybe confronting him about it would help. Tell him the dreams you've been having. Your dreams are usually trying to solve problems that you dont while you are awake. Im not sure what this means to your case. Takl it out. Listen to your heart... but try to not be a homewrecker! <33 LOL> Best of luck!

I've had recurring dreams about ex girlfriends but I had no interest in EVER getting back together with them.
Your dreams are normal.

Be careful about breaking up a couple.
Do you want to risk your friendship?
