Yes, always read the fine print.

Also, you can avoid all charges on a credit card if you pay the balance in full each month.

Don't forget about the annual fees. Do you know if your card charges an annual fee? Does that matter to you?

Definitely read the fine print.

I'd highly suggest it. Generally the rate won't change unless you are late or something (and then they penalize you and raise it alot). To me, the best policy is just to pay the thing off every month and not worry about the rate so much. I know not everyone can do this, but if you can't do it then thats a sign you may have to much credit.

Anyhow, do read the fine print both on why the interest rate would change and by how much. I'd also go online and try to find some reviews from other people on the credit card you are interested in. I'd also advise getting a card that gives you a bit back (usually 1% on all purchases a bit more on some stuff).

Picking the right card is a big deal and will save you alot in the future so weigh your options carefully.

I personally don't, but I would reccomend doing so. It avoids any mistakes or miscommunions with the credit card company.

In any contract, you need to put it under a microscope, in order NOT to get burnt down the line. This is just good common sense.

No matter what the situation is you should always read everything in any transaction. Otherwise, you may get in a mess & find out about it too late.
