If God chooses you, you don;t really get a choice...
I mean look at poor Jonah. There he was, minding his own business when God ups and tells him to go to Nineveh to warn them of his coming judgement if they don;t mend their ways. What does the poor shlep do? try to run away- only to be tossed over board and get to spend time in the belly of Leviathan! Nope- I reckon if God chooses you, your best option is to just do as he says and go with the flow...

I am doing it. Living it right now. On a daily basis. Now it is different though, He doesn't ask you to leave everything you know, He just asks you to be a living testimonies and a light in a world full of darkness...So I haven't abandoned my family or anything, but I do teach the Word of God to youth, and that alone is a major struggle b/c they are being so conformed to the world. But, It's not always easy, or comfortable, but it's worth it, i know. People do think your crazy, and the thing is... you kinda are. Lol. But it's a good crazy. If that makes any sense. It takes a very strong person to do it, someone who is not afraid of what the world thinks. Someone who will step out of the boat, and have the faith to float! But to answer your question. I am doing it in today's society. So, if it be God's will, then... "YES."

I have been chosen. I know that people will think that I am crazy but I do not care.
I care about God and what He wants.
I will not have to leave my home and family , thanks to web cams and the net.
My message is :
Right now the USA is being protected by a Doctrine called the Shield of Faith.
Psalm33:10
Duet 33:29
Psalm3:3
Psalm 28:7
This same doctrine will protect the Tribulational Saints in the future.
I just love the fact that unbelievers will be the greatest Christians after the Rapture.
These believers will know the Word of God and apply it in their lives.
" Fear not for I am with thee, be not afraid for I am thy God....."

See, this was the problem with what Jesus told his followers. "Leave everything behind and follow me." And the disciples did just that, didn't they, according to the New Testament. Walked away from their very fishing nets, etc. without even a second look back, or going back home to get anything.
How many children did that leave without a father to provide for them? How many wives did it leave in the lurch, unable to remarry (no formal divorce leaves the woman in a state of not being able to ever remarry, as the husband was the one who had to provide the divorce document), and with no one to put a roof over her head?
I wonder how many wives were forced into prostitution as a result, in an attempt to provide for themselves and their children?
Jesus instructing this would never have been acceptable in Judaism for those reasons - our Torah teaches men not to abandon their wives and children, but to provide for them and keep them safe and secure instead. It's clear that whoever wrote those words and put them in the mouth of Jesus in the New Testament, wasn't a Jew from those times. And if Jesus DID really say it, then his character wouldn't have been one up to the task of being the Messiah. The Messiah doesn't cause men to abandon their families and children and leave them hanging like that.
So, to answer your question after all of that, I guess it would depend on whether a person is married and has children and other obligations, wouldn't it. If they were single, and didn't have any other obligations, sure why not. Except that they will always have the obligation to care for their parents (unless they were dead) in any case, no matter what. Honor thy father and mother.

I already am a modern day Prophet and I already am ministering His Word. God is going to re-establish His Church within America and around the world. He is going to place His holy fear upon the people of earth.

Have you not read, that the law and the prophets were until John?
There are no prophets along those lines any more. All are now commanded to turn to God through each one's personal witness and the witness of Scripture.

I would struggle - leaving the family -- I would fuss & argue (my human nature) but I would do as he requested. Because he IS God.
I would have a hard time w/ the speaking part- I am not one to get up front in a crowd--( He would probably have to nudge me a bit to get in front of people.)

Perhaps you need to be checked out mentally. There are tons of false gurus in the world.
Are you one of them?
but seriously... If I really thought I was 'called' to teach people what has been revealed to me then I would start a church or at least offer gatherings on a regular basis that are open to all to come.
