Hwa: The US is probably the biggest opponent to military dictatorships.

We're so committed to it, that when pro-US Venezuelans overthrew the elected anti-US president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, we used our influence with them and told them they had to turn the government back over to our enemy.

They complied.

We already have. Article 2 of our Constitution makes the President the Commander In Chief of the armed forces. The Armed Forces Reorganization Act of 1947 gives the Secretary of Defense the job of being the principal military advisor to the President. Those two individuals are civilians. Each of the branches of the military is headed up by a civilian Service Secretary. In addition, it is the Congress which sets and approves the budget of each of the military branches. And they are civilians as well.
There is no military rule in the United States and there never will be. And I am quite happy with that situation.

Other countries...yes they can. In the USA it will be treason to attempt to make into a military dictatorial rule.

No problem. We will ban these sort of things - and make you responsible for enforcement.

Buy a plane ticket, fly over to those countries and tell them to stop.
