I want to buy a big screen tv for a new townhome I'm buying. I'm going to put it in my loft which is pretty big 18' x 20'. I want to spend anywhere between $5,000 and $7,000. Which tv would you reccommend?
I will use the tv for movies, and possibly video games. I hear LCD is better since plasma's can burn images in the screen due to video games.

i would say go for the SONY LCD HDTV.

LCD and Plasma's both offer great options and to be honest are about the same when it comes to picture there really is not that much difference just two differnt ways of making a tv.
Go look at some and see what is best for you. I have an LCD and like the brightness of it over the plasma's but to each his own.

i would get an hdtv i have one 52" and it is really nice and good quality, it was like 1400$ and lasts longer than plasma and lcd ones (they only last roughly 7 years)
