It's really complicated to me. DEI gets the fourth team it wants, gets Ginn Racing's facility, which apparently is better than DEI's. The 15 car gets in all the races assuming it can stay in the top 35.
But unfortunately Marlin and Nemechek are the dissenters in this case. It's not very likely that they'll both get rides for the rest of the season.
Also, what happens to Almirola? He was going to drive the 01 car with Mark Martin, but now it seems that Regan Smith will still end up driving those races, now that the 14 car will be gone. So much for Almirola's chances in the big show.

It will be good for bot DEI and Ginn. This could be the next powerhouse team if they make the right moves.

A good move for both. They can test more and Ginn brings Mark Martin in the #01.

I think it saved Ginn Racing. I think that people like Ginn who don't know anything about racing should not try starting there own teams.
I also think that it is funny that now that Dale Jr has left Mommy is doing what Jr wanted to do while he was there.

I agree with the other, DEI had to do something with Jr leaving. I'm not exactly sure why it couldn't wait until next season though.

Could this be the start of a new "power" team?

I find it completely ironic that all these changes are being made AFTER Junior decided to leave. I seriously hope Ginn is a shrewd enough buisness man so that he doesnt find himself leaving DEI with nothing.

Saved Ginn Racing's bacon for sure! Does anyone else find it funny that TEI, (no, not a mistake), is suddenly expanding now that Dale Jr. is leaving?

I still think this whole "merger" or "acqusition" by D.E.I. is aimed at selling D.E.I I know im in the minority but why in God's name would Teresa expand when she cares nada about the sport and before we all judge her to harshly. While the sport has provided her wealth and comfort, it also has claimed a heavy toll on her.
