Millie, you already seem to know a lot about Islam, yet you claim that you are not interested and neither is anyone else. Not to consider that everything you said was misinterpreted and misleading, but why would you know all this about Islam, and then refuse to learn anything else? You learn only the hate from the media, and accept all of these things you hear as truth, but when it comes to learning about the truth about Islam, you strongly refuse to be educated. You just proved that you required some form of interest by knowing all of those things you called "not faith". Hey, trust me, I could do the same with any religion, but we Muslims know not to, because we are not inconsiderate enough to purposely post bogus information that we call truth. You don't see very many Muslims criticizing Christians, but when we do, we offend them with the truth. They try and offend us with lies, exaggerated accusations, and wrong information. Its funny, really, that we can peacefully stand up for our religion while being attacked with "false", and we fight back by first explaining the misconception brought up, amending it and providing unheard of explanations, and then counter your statement with the truth. Truth vs. False. The truth is always stronger in any situation, but unfortunately, there are so many people who attack with falseness that they outnumber those who fight with the truth.
And people, what she meant by "proven scientific miracles" was that these scientific occurences written in the Qu'ran were discovered much later by scientists after the Qu'ran was revealed. Its not that hard...

Good question. They deny because they don't know the facts. Most of the subscribers here are interested in 2 points from Yahoo instead of seeking the truth.
Unfortunately Muslim media is still non-existant or not so active to promote the facts about Quran or other Muslim activities. Islam is still a mystry for other faiths.
What you understand and recall "the Proven scientific miracles of Quran" has not yet reached to them hence you should realize the knowledge and understanding of others before asking such questions. However I agree with your views.

And how many Signs in the heavens and the earth do they pass by? Yet they turn (their faces) away from them!
And most of them believe not in Allah without associating (others as partners) with Him! (Holy Quran:12:105,106)
This is a very truth about our life. Allah's signs are scattered litrally throughout nature-throughout creation for those who have eyes to see. But man is arrogant that he turns away his very eyes from them. That's why Allah tells us that guidance is from Him alone. It is a light from Him that sees meanings and purpose of His Creation. Yes, we as Muslims also are busy running behind the worldly possession which each of us will leave the day we are called back unto Allah. A baby comes out of the womb of a mother with folded arms as if it withholds the whole world under it but a dying man carries away nothing from this world and goes away in bare arms spread open. We carry nothing other than our deeds from here done for the sake of Allah. Where is the time to think about all this!

Salam Aleykum!
Sister, sorry for saying this, but first: you should remove the picture of the uncovered women in your icon/avatar since pictures with souls are haram.
About the Day of Judgement: AstagfiruAllah, its time is only known by Allah (SWT)..
“They ask you about the Hour (Day of Resurrection): ‘When will be its appointed time?’ Say: ‘The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He’” [al-A’raaf 7:187]
thirdly: i have noticed how hard you and some other muslims wanna convert the people here. i would not do that because it has no sense (i mean it has no sense, here at this board).. You will cause more "injuries" than benefits and people will think that we want to convert them forcefully while they just want to get answers to their questions here..
So please be careful and don't force Islam and do not "try" to prove anything because the others are not fully silly and they will rather think we are more pushy than patient..
Just an advice without being mean or malicious..

Christianity and Judaism have lots of violence in their history, but education has brought them into the realization that violence is not the way to spread religion. By nature, human beings reject impositions and much more reject being forced into religion, when religion is supposed to be about faith. This is the XXI Century, 2007, and Muslims are still thinking and acting as if this is the Middle Ages.
Faith is not reciting verses from a book like parrots.
Faith is not putting a weapon on someone else's head and force a conversion.
Faith is not strapping a belt full of explosives and blow ourselves up, rejecting the life that "Allah" gave us.
Faith will never be "not to have any respect for women, especially when we all are born from one."
How can you expect ANYONE to believe anything from a religion that has no idea of what "faith" is????
How can you expect ANYONE to even be interested in knowing anything about such beliefs???
Why are you not able to see that, if we are not interested in knowing anything about your religion, IT'S YOUR OWN PEOPLE'S FAULT?????
When are you ALL going to learn that:
"It's easier to catch flies with honey than with a rifle."
HEY Omer Sweetheart!
First, I have a college degree, I'm not an inocent, naive, much less "brainwashed" teenager.
Second: I've been reading, studying, and researching Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, for THIRTY *30* YEARS. What I said is not based on the news, it's based on 30 years of "open mind" reseach.
Third: I dont belong to any religlion, no one has been able to brainwash me.
Fourth: When I want to read the news, I go to "World News" and read everything I can find in either English, Spanish, Portuguese and/or French. So I have firsthand sources in four languages, not the local news, much less the TV.
See if you can beat that??....btw, judging for your words my best avice for you is: go shopping for a brain, yours is already "out of order"

I'm a non-muslin and I'll admit that I don't know much but as of my understanding from studying religion is that people often deny the Quran as the word of Allah because of the way it was recorded. It wasn't recorded until after Muhammed died therefore the things written in the Quran could have been influenced by those writing them down. I understand that there were people whos specific job it was to remember what he said but it still can't fully be trusted that they did not in some way change or alter the word of allah to benefit themselves in the here and now. Just my understanding.

Just that every human being wants their own personal proof. Or else they want GOD to make multiple speeches at conventions.
This is a reply to the one that said that "a religion that is causing so much death and mayhem" The religion didnt cause death & mayham.... People do. The idiots that got brain-washed by psycopath Osama Bin Laden. The one who re-molded the Taliban and developed the "Al-Qaeda"
We condemn murder & suicide. We are not like the old fashion Japanese samari. Far from that.
I cant speak for everyone but its ok if you dont agree.
I dont care if you convert or dont convert.
I just want people to understand.

I believe the Qur'an is often denied as being the Word of Allah because many people are convinced it was written by Prophet Muhammad (Allah's Peace be upon him), whom they believe was a false prophet.
