Interesting.
I am White and my parents never said anything about Blacks, I was raised in a white neihborhood and attended for the most part an all white school, I never met a black person until I went into the military, there I realized by observation that they are just as diverse and as intelligent as any other person or race, different culture, yes, But it is my own race that I fear the Most, you see...when a Black person say perhaps kills someone, it is for a tangeble reason, albeit for money, jealousy, drugs, or something like that, I have noticed that for the exception of Wayne Williams no Black Person has become a serial killer, it seems that only the White race Kills for the pleasure of Killing alone, with only a few exceptions.

Lion of Judah, you seem to be forgetting about the black Washington sniper or whatever they called him a few years back. The mass murderer at Virginia Tech was Asian.
Anyway, as much as I hate the "brothers" thing I largely agree. Having grown up in majority white, yet diverse, neighborhoods I learned very early on to see people as individuals.

Yes, I really do think I am color blind to that extent. I appreciate that color-blind is not the fashionable response to race issues, but that's what I grew up with as being the best manners. One simply does not consider the color of another's skin to be relevant. Not for, and not against. Just trivial.
On the other hand, there are matters of personal taste when it comes to romance, and there I figure to each his or her own. I will not tell you whether chocolate or vanilla ice cream is "better," nor caramel or coffee or any other flavor. Nor will I tell you that a particular color of skin appeals to me more, because the over-riding factor for me is integrity, intelligence, and how fine his manners are toward me. And I have met both real gentlemen and real pigs in a variety of colors in my long, strange trip.

Yes, I love my white brothers just as much as I love my black brothers.
Actually I never see the outer beauty of the person I see his\her inner beauty i.e I see how are they from inner heart.
And I never do any distinction among people.
Thankyou!

Some are white? Some are black?
I never made the distinction.

Humans aren't my brothers, sisters nor any other kind of kin.
Humans are irrelevant to me.... I ignore them where possible. If they get in my way, I push them out of it. The colour of their skin is as irrelevant as what they had for breakfast.
That is all.

I like to look at it a bit differently; not as white vs. black vs. yellow vs. red but as good people vs. bad people; those in whom i see goodness regardless of race are my brothers ... those in whom i see wickedness and violence i don't consider my bros/sisters.

One of the commandments brought down by Moses in the old testement states Love your enemy as yourself. That means no matter what color he or she is don't hate that person. However it didn't say anything about orientation.

I love all my brothers from another mother and all my sisters from another mister. Colour doesn't factor into it!
