Hi, I'm actually from a super-nice family, and there's no reason I should be this way, but I guess for every lottery winner, there is probably the same number of ppl with a cursing personality disorder.

Well I got one of the worst. I speculate the philosophy of life, and here's my question for answer.

What would you do, if you woke up and contrary to the past of your life, today and everyday from now on, you'll have anti-social personality disorder, and you're very cruel to others if it involves personal gain. You have no empathy, and you're heartless and driven by vain goals (power, money, hot girls).

It sucks, but my answer is that you have to utilize it, but feel sorry for yourself occasionally.

I'm responsible for a TON of misery and pain and suffering of other people, even indirectly the loss and creation (1 each) of a life.

What would you do if you were me, and you were hated by everyone (if only hated on a subconscious level).

Well, you are presuming superior knowledge to the situation.

If I was colorblind, and I saw purple as gray, and if random non-bias people who didn't know I was colour blind, said that it was gray, I would rely on logic and come to the conclusion that whereever I saw purple, that it was actually gray.

This is a common misperception and i'm glad a retard pointed it out.

I use logic to "infer" what is real, and this accounts for my perception difficulties.

If say I were an african american, but believed that I was white, I could take surveys of non-biased people to create a study where 99.9% of randomly selected particpants said I had black skin, even if I were 99.999999% sure that I had white skin.

Just because I have anti-social personality, doesn't mean I dont have a 150 I.Q.

Just because I am narcissistic, doesn't mean that I am aware that my answer indicates narcissism--got u

I'm not sure about what I would do if I had anti-social personality disorder, but I used to be very pessimistic and whiny. Then one day I sorta woke up and realized how I was acting and treating others. I decided then that I didn't want to live in misery and so I started looking on the positive side of things and focusing on what's going well instead of what's going wrong. I slowly began to feel much better about myself and the world around me. This eventually became intuned with my personality to the point that I no longer have to think about refocusing, but rather it comes naturally.

I think the very aspect of you posting this question is a good sign that you are questioning your personality and seeking ways to change it. Best of luck to you.

You may benefit from seeing a therapist and reading self-help books on anti-social personality.

Self-Help
Self-help methods for the treatment of this disorder are often overlooked by the medical profession because very few professionals are involved in them. Groups can be especially helpful for people with this disorder, if they are tailored specifically for antisocial personality disorder. Individuals with this disorder typically feel more at ease in discussing their feelings and behaviors in front of their peers in this type of supportive modality. Leaders of such self-help support groups, though, must be wary of individuals who come to group just to brag about their exploits and who may seek to use the group inappropriately. Usually a group can be very helpful and beneficial to most people with this disorder, once they overcome their initial fears and hesitation to join such a group. Many support groups exist within communities throughout the world which are devoted to helping individuals with this disorder share their commons experiences and feelings.

If it truly is a disorder, maybe it's treatable. You sought help here, maybe seeking help with a profesional would be a good idea. If not that, why not try to do some good where you can to help offset your behavior. I'm sure if you looked, you would find siuations here or there that you could help someone without that much effort or cost to your self.

If I truly had Antisocial Personality Disorder, then I would probably have little or no insight into my behavior.

If I hurt someone, I would say "they got what they deserved" and "I got to look out for number one."

I can't imagine living like that.
