I do. My 7-month-old puppy has parvo. He threw up nasty white foam, had bloody diarrhea, and a fever of 103.3 F. I called the ER vet and they wanted $110 up front before they would start any treatment. I did not have the money, but I do have faith. I asked people to pray and God has healed my puppy. He no longer has any fever, he has not vomited or passed any bloody stool all night and he is now eating on his own! Thank You JESUS!!!

"Be Nice" has a good point. The power is not so much in the prayer, but in the One who answers the prayer, for God is omnipotent. My faith comes from Him and my prayer goes to Him. I am a Christian and believe that Jesus is Messiah.
My puppy was ok all day Monday 7/23/07, but he started getting lethargic around midnight. He slept almost the entire day Tuesday 7/24/07. He threw up white foamy stuff at 4:30 PM and we noticed the first bloody stool at 9:00 PM on the 24th. At 10PM the ER vet told me it was parvo. I told my kids what was going on and we all prayed for the puppy. At midnight, 7/25/07, I asked for Christians on YA to pray for him. Now only five hours later he is up and eating on his own when earlier I had to force pedialite down him to prevent dehydration. You cannot tell me "He just recovered." Without God it would be impossible for my dog to have that much blood come out his butt and "just recover" in only 5hrs.

Oh, gosh. Dear heart, a puppy is a puppy, a baby whose system reacts to food that's new to it. A puppy will put almost anything in its mouth and swallow it. It passes through the system and the upset tummy is okay again, the puppy is back to playing puppy games. And so you are saying that an invisible god undertook to do what is normal, absolutely normal in many a puppy's first adventures? Interesting.

I've seen the results of prayers for healing. Yes, prayer works. That doesn't mean you'll always get what you pray for however. God isn't a genie that you pull out of a bottle to grant your every wish. :)

Praise the Lord!
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. 18 Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.

I believe in the power of prayer too, but only to Jesus/God. There is no other god. I am so glad you prayed in faith for your puppy and he is okay now. Praise God.

I fully believe in the power of prayer. It works, as long as it is God's Will, which is sometimes hard to accept.

That depends.
When I was younger, I prayed for a new bike. When I didn't get one, I went out and stole it. And then prayed for forgiveness.
When prayers work, It's God's will. When they don't, it's God's will. I don't see the difference.

Prayer is cool. Action is cool. Together they form an unstoppable tandem. I am glad to hear about your puppy. God bless.

You seriously believe that the "creator of the universe" bent the laws of nature on behalf of your sick dog? With all the crap going on in the world today... war, flooding, drought,... disasters natural and man-made... you seriously believe that??? I can't believe how self-centered and immature some people can be. You'd rather believe that than just acknowledge the dog got better. How incredible naive.
