I have only been working for my current company for a year and half, but it is contract. I have worked other contract posistions with different agencies prior to that. Please see how I worded it:

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

January 2005 Projects Assistant (Contract)

Present ABC Company (currently), Colorado, Springs

I had a phone interview and I will have a panel interview tomorrow. Should I just not say anything. All they know is the position I work in now has been 2 years, and it states contract on my resume but I said nothing about it on the phone.

I would like to hear you response, thanks!!!!

I'm not sure what you are so worried about. As someone who reads resumes every day, I'm not even sure what "contract" means on a resume. It can mean different things to different people. If I were interviewing you, I might ask you about the word contract. But I don't see why you think that you lied or would be seen as having lied.

Shouldn't be a problem at all; contrract work is very common these days.

Always be honest; the fallout is much worse from lies than from not having the answers you think they want.

I don't think people care if it a contract or not - leave it out and talk about what you did (do?), what you were good at, what you learned.

Nothing to worry about from my point of view. And you'd better not get into this conversation at all because I feel you might talk too much about it and be taken for mumbler...forget about it, it's not important.

Don't mention it unless you are asked. If asked, tell the truth. Don't worry, you will do well.

Peace and blessings!
