In the N.I.V. not worry is in it 11 times, not fear is in there 88 times. 11+88=99. King James has 170 not fear and 0 not worry. Check out; Bible Gateway.com

"Do not Worry" did not return any results. "not fear" returend 144 results, so I guess it depends on how specific you are. I am using the King James version of the Bible. Good luck in your quest!

While I don't know the answer, I suspect it is probably themed a number of times in Psalms and Proverbs and possibly in Ecclesiastes as well. Perhaps also in Isaiah.

Jesus very specifically mentions it in his Sermon on the Mount. That is described at least three times in the gospels.

The whole idea of this is that God takes care of His own, and will look after us and we should trust Him. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer, but that is how I understand Judeo-Christian teachings.

Don't know the count, but I like this verse:

"Don't you worry,
Never fear;
Jesus Christ
Will soon be here."

It doesn't matter how many times it is said. even if it is written only once what matters is that we obey, not to worry not to fear.
