There is a basic concept about God that a lot of people don't seem to understand: God is a God of love, and He knows all too well that forcing anyone to do your bidding is not love. When God created the angels, He created them to live with Him in Heaven and to be His servants, but He gave them freedom of choice. Satan and his followers (who were all angels) decided they didn't want to be servants of God, so they rebelled. As a result, God banished them from Heaven and sent them to the place of weeping and gnashing of teeth (a.k.a. Hell). God applied the same principle when He created mankind. He created us to be with Him and live with Him and, yes, serve Him, but He also gave human beings freedom of choice. Being all-powerful, he could have forced Adam and Eve to stay away from The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but He knew that forcing anyone to do your bidding is not love. That is the second greatest way God shows His love for us -- He doesn't force us to do as He commands; he gives us the choice. Of course, the greatest way God shows His love for us is by offering us forgiveness of all our sins through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Well I'm not so sure he did, I think Satan became manifest out of man's need for transference.
Assuming that God created Man he also gave Man free will. With this freedom came a responsibility. This power enabled Man to create many things for himself. Satan is the monster which is evoked when this power is misused or unbalanced, ignored and neglected. So I don't think God directly created Satan I think he let someone else do the work for him. Wouldn't you?

God created the angels. One angel coveted the worship that God was getting. He deceived Eve by using a serpent (Revelation 12:9). That angel became Satan the Devil, much like a man isn't born a theif but becomes one when he gives in to desire or temptation.

God didn't create Satan, he created himself. As already mentioned Satan was an angel called Lucifer. The name Satan means opposer or resister of God. Devil means slanderer. Lucifer acquired these names because he was the foremost resister and slanderer of God. As to why Jehovah God created Lucifer as a being able to behave this way, the answer is that God gave him free will just as he gave us free will because he is a God of love and justice.

Satan was originally an angel like all the rest. But like the rest of us he had the freedom to choose and he decided that he wanted Gods job. So God sacked him.

Satan was the creator of everything and GOD was suppose to be one of his 3rd class Demon but GOD strayed and betrayed Lucifer. Satan meant for this world to be an everlasting orgy of ecstasy to all of us but kinda spoiled by the Anti-Satan.

He didn't "create" him as Satan

Satan is Lucifer, an angel who fell from grace - ie a good guy who went bad.

It was an innocent accident. Gabriel asked God why He had created the ostrich to be a flightless running bird. God quipped, "The devil made me do it," and >>ZAP<< Satan was spoken into existence. Oops.
