There is a basic misconception between non-Catholic Christians and their Catholic bretheren. I think we can all agree that "prayer" is a form of dialogue. While most non-Catholic Christians use this dialogue exclusively with God, Catholics also use this dialogue with God and the saints.
Even if it is used exclusively with God, is prayer always "Praise and Worship" or are there other forms of prayer?
+ Don't you also ask for favors from God (i.e. health, wealth, wisdom, etc.)? Do I worship you if I ask you for $5?
+ Don't you also thank God for your many blessings (i.e. health, wealth, wisdom, etc.)? Do I worship you if I thank you for your help?
+ Don't you pray for others and call it "Intercessory Prayer"? That's what Catholics ask the saints for.
If I can dialogue with you without worshipping you, why can't I dialogue with the saints without worshipping them? Prayer is a dialogue and there are many forms of prayer, many more than I listed. Respond to question only.

A dialog is a conversation between two or more persons.
The bible tells us to pray for one another, not to pray to one another.

I see your point here but worship is the praise and adoration that is due to God alone, we have the intelligence to know how to direct our worship to God and not to any created thing.
Dialogue with anyone else besides God is just dialogue be it family,friends or even the Saints.
