...Since there are so many hoaxes and cons going on nowadays, and many Christians may assume he was being blashemous.

Just wondering...

His descending onto the top of the Mount of Olives, which then would split, would be pretty convincing! (Anyone claiming to be Jesus who DOESN'T do that is a **charlatan**.)

In our day hoaxes are more sophistcated then ever before.
How can you know for sure? The same way Peter came to know for sure, by the testimony of the Holy Ghost. ( Read Matt. 16, start with verse 13...)

The companionship of the Holy Ghost must be earned and practiced diligently. Those who will do so will have no need of 'flesh and blood' to convince them. They will know directly and independently. Conversely, those who don't make such an effort will be at a disadvantage. They simply cannot know with that level of certainty. That's the whole reason that there is a Holy Ghost in the first place.
He testifies of the truth, all truth. He reveals, he comforts, he puts our doubts to rest.

I am sure most so-called Christians will will be decieved, especially as these events actually happen differently than what they expected or were always taught to expect.Peter himself denied three times on the night of Christ's betrayal. But he had not yet recieved the Holy Ghost as the Lord had promised.

Grins :)

Matthew 24:23-
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

I know, everyone hates cut and paste jobs, but I figured why not hear from the Man Himself? lol At any rate, there ya go, that's how He says it's going to happen ... would you have any doubt if you saw the sun did not reach the earth, meteors constantly whizzing by, and here He comes, riding the clouds of Heaven? Would that be convincing enough? :)

You have a point. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Jesus came back and could prove he was the Son of God, some Christians would be out of business. So they'd kill him. Again. At the very least quickly find himself the victim of extraordinary sedition and be transported to Guantanamo Bay!

From what I understand; everybody will bow down.. or kneel. and sing his praises and say that he is God, or something along those lines.

The gist is that everybody will know for certain, and will give in to acknowledge it, and the Jewish will finally have their savior.

Like coke the truth is in the product. Except coke has a deadly poison called appertain which they use for sweeteners. But seriously that would take some time and only by his works and deeds which can also be a game plan to fool the masses. It has not yet proven that he is all that is written so take your time in deciding.

Jesus Christ as a mortal? There's not much in my eyes he could say as a mortal unless he had the ability to bestow belief within myself then he doesn't have a chance. If he was immortal christ then i'm sure he could pull off some wonders that would make me believe.

When Jesus returns both times you won't have any trouble telling him from the false.
The problem is not to be fooled by the false one.
god Bless!

He can float on air, walk on water, drink a gallon of cyanide solution and a thousand other things which He easily demonstrate in public and which no mere human can do.
