Auntb93...
I dont know which country you are in, but here in England you need 2 forms of id to get a library card (Ie something with your name & address on.) I like the positive points though, thanks.
Love & good wishes to you.

Yes Farah, I feel lucky to be alive. Specially after experiencing death several times in my life, and coming out of it triumphant!

The first time was when I was still an infant, I had Cholerin which is an illness related to Cholera and usually kills in 24 hours to 8 days. Another time a loose bullet hit a wall about 4 inches above my head, I was the 3 years old my mother said. Another time I went down a hill full speed to a street's intersection on roller-skates and a car just missed me, I was about 14.

Several times suffered tachycardia almost reaching death after my 30's. And up till today I am still alive! I have even learned to control my heartbeats when I feel bad.

The same God has managed my life in a way that sometimes some bad things have happened to me so that I come to avoid something worse. I have learned to see these things and to thank God for them. I have felt his presence just about every day of my life. I sure feel lucky to be alive!

Sometimes, yeah. But sometimes I figure this body is so badly trashed it may be getting on for time to trade it in on a new model. But your point is well taken: we are indeed lucky to be well enough off to have a computer and be able to communicate with one another. Although in fact I suspect some users are homeless people using a library computer or some such. Still, it's lucky to live in a community which provides that level of opportunity to its homeless population.

It isn't a miracle, and there is nothing to be grateful to. However I do consider myself fortunate to be in a comparatively privileged position.

i wake up and thank God for another day before i even slide out of bed in the morning. i thank Him for every single thing i have (though not one item at a time, obviously. lol), for every experience (i don't believe in ''bad'' experiences... it's all good) i've had, and for every experience i will have in the future.
