are of the devil? They tell me that if I continue to speak to wiccans a I only speak to one that I will open up the door for satan to come in to attack me. Before I was speaking to her I was being attacked anyway. They tell me to stay away from her. Who do these people think they are? I can talk to who ever I want. What is wrong with most chrisitans these days, that say don't do this don't do that. Did they not know God is the only Judge not them. God will Judge every person not anyone else. Jesus alone will have that athority given to him. I am getting sick and tired of all these condeming chrisitans. I can hang around an athiest, but how many of them will tell you it is wrong? Too many. Jesus hung around tax collectors, prossitutes, ect. He loved them. Where is the compassion people? Chrisitans where is it?

I think such Christians should mind their own business and that you should talk with whomever you please.

You sound like a very nice person. But most christians at least in my area look at nonbelievers as either Satan worshipers or some one to force into their way of thinking. It's like they score points somewhere for anyone that they bring into the faith from "the other side". They will try to be nice at first, then slowly get meaner and meaner when it shows that that person has no intent to come to chrisitanity. Finally if they accept the fact that that person isn't going to give up their own beliefs then they are declared to be "of Satan or Satan's child" and are treated accordingly. They will try to run them out of the community, vandalize their property and threaten them with bodily harm. People will say that this sort of thing doesn't happen in the Good Ol USA but it does. I have seen it and that is why most here don't know about my leanings. The truth or basis of Christianity has been lost to most in this time. Sad but true. I am so glad that I got out before it completely destroyed me.

Actually they do not understand what Christianity is. Christians are supposed to live in a way that us ungodly pagans and atheists will be moved to ask why you life is so different and thus opening the door for them to minister and witness.

How can Christians lead us ungodly sinners to their Christ if they ignore us. Saying that I think most pagans and atheists would rather most Christians ignore them.

Personally if I know the Christian personally and know they are really sincere and really try to live like they should and they are not pushy I will talk a little, but not very much about religion, but they should also listen to what I have to say as I them.

The bible is full of examples of Christians associating with unbelievers, but at the same time it warns that bad company corrupt good morals. those that say do not talk to us do not understand what this really means.

In the 1960's I grew up and it was hard not to associate with people who did not do drugs. I had many friends who smoked weed, but I never did and did not hang with them if they pulled out a joint, but if I had let them influence me then according to the bible that is when bad company corrupts good morals.

If you are not judgmental or tell us we are going to hell, then you are actually making Christians look good.

A young Wiccan girl moved here to this small Southern town and we became fast friends. Well, right away, the toungues in my Baptist Church began to wag. Oh, I was going to be dragged into her evil Devil worship and black spells. I mean, they became quite adament about it. And most were downright rude to that shy, sweet, gentle Wiccan girl. Really, their behavior angered and embarressed me.
Most Christians fear anything they don't understand. They mistakenly thought the girl worshiped the Devil, and were too lazy to find out the truth. Wicca doesn't even recognize Satan in any way, must less worship him.
Now, if you befriend someone who begins dragging you down into things that are bad for you, drugs, non-stop partying, committing crimes, etc. you have to pull away from them so they won't carry you too far down into that which will harm you.

Just ignore them. Jesus hung around with sinners all the time. We can be friends with whomever we choose to be.

Two of my best friends are Wiccan. I see nothing wrong with hanging out with them.

I've never heard a Christian telling me not to talk to wiccans in my entire life. Even if a Christian did tell me that, I wouldn't really care because if I make friends with a wiccan then I wouldn't not wanna be their friend just because their a wiccan and also I don't know any wiccans personally.

I'm a Christian, and yes I do have friends and family who do not share in my faith, but I also know that the GOD I love also LOVES them.

My duty is not to judge anyone, but to be a friend to everyone.
I do not have to do as they do. I can not change a person's life experience nor why they believe what they believe.

I have learned over the years not to push my faith down anybodies throat that just pushes them away.

Yes I do believe that GOD puts us in others lives and HE puts others in our lives to be a blessing. It depends on how we respond to others that can turn it into a curse.

A Christian (so-called) that avoids anyone that believes different than they do, are the ones who run from blessings, because they are not strong in their faith.

As a Christian, I am to be careful who I keep company with, I need to trust GOD to know whom HE placed in my life and for HIS reasons alone. I know it is ONLY HE who can change the hearts of those who deny HIM. I know that GOD knows what they have gone through in their lives and I know only HE can deliver others from that pain.

I use to go to bars and get drunk and dance, even though I use to convince myself I was really going to talk about Jesus, but that was not what others saw, they saw me as easy, because I portrayed myself this was. Until I saw how the men looked at me, and I saw (in my mind) being draged out the back door and getting raped, I not only sobered up, I woke up.

Thank you for your open mindedness. I have to say that the Christians you refer to really make me wonder if they realize that recruiting by fear just doesn't work. It is sad that it seems so many Christians have the opinion that "if you are not with us, you are against us". It is a shame that so many cannot accept the fact that we are all different and therefore walk different paths.

I minister strictly to Wiccans, pagans, and occult groups. ( Mostly Wiccans ) I've got some of them who are friends. How will they see Jesus, if no Christian is there to represent Him? I see alot of this nonsense being spoken by Christians, and also spoken in the churches. I didn't know Christianity was an elite group, and we had the right to determine who was salvagable and who is not. To me, all can come to Christ if they make the personal decision to do so. Even Wiccans. I do not beat up on them, neither do I ram my beliefs down their throats. I treat them like the human beings they are, and when they inquire into my beliefs, I share it with them. And if they reject it, I do not reject them, but show them respect. Win a friend, win a soul. That's how I believe.

How many missed the message: "Love one another"?

To those of little Faith, keeping company of like minded people is perhaps their best course of action. This requires little energy other than constant reminding themselves of their own weaknesses.

It does seem that some do not understand the difference between being IN the world and yet not OF the world.

The concept of shunning is Old Testament. It is a shame that many proclaimed Christians are so narrow minded.

My personal thought is that people who say Wiccans are "of the devil" are uneducated and don't have a clue what they're talking about.
