"We sent down to you THIS BOOK truthfully, confirming all previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall judge among them according to what is sent down from God (this book), and do not follow their wishes if they deviate from the truth.... You shall judge among them according to what is send down from God (this book); do not follow their wishes, and BEWARE lest they divert you from that which is sent down to you from God (this book).... Would they seek the laws of ignorance? WHO IS BETTER THAN GOD as a lawmaker, for those who sincerely believe?" (Quran 5:4850)

MUHAMMAD FORBIDDEN FROM UTTERING ANY RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTIONS OTHER THAN QURAN
"This (Quran) is the utterance of an honorable messenger. It is not the utterance of a poet; rarely do you believe. Nor is it the utterance of a soothsayer; rarely do you take heed. A revelation from the Lord of the universe. HAD HE EVER UTTERED ANY OTHER RELIGIOUS UTTERANCES (attributed to us), we would have punished him severely, then we would have stopped the revelation to him (fired him). None of you could have protected him against us." (69:4047)
These very clear verses teach us that Muhammad was forbidden from uttering any religious teachings beside Quran. The strength of the Arabic text cannot be fully translated to English. But the powerful expressions leave no doubt whatsoever that the Prophet's sole function was to "DELIVER" Quran, the whole Quran, and NOTHING but Quran.

MUHAMMAD ORDERED NEVER TO DEVIATE FROM QURAN. DEVIATION MEANT SEVERE PUNISHMENT
"They almost diverted you (O Muhammad) from our revelations to you; they wanted you to fabricate something else to consider you a friend. If it were not that we strengthened you, you almost leaned towards them a little bit. Had you done it, we would have doubled the punishment for you in this life, and after death; no one could have protected you against us." (17:7375)
In setting the example for us, the Prophet was ordered to adhere strictly to God's revelations to him, specifically identified in 5:4850 (Page 3) as Quran.

GOD Tells us to follow SUNNA, THAT WHICH is represented in QURAN . HE tells us that his Quran is complete and we do not need ANY other book. WHY SHOULD I TRUST ANOTHER HUMAN being to bring the right sunna and hadith to me throw countless generations when it was Allah the merciful who said that he will preserve Quran, after he had made it complete for us.

yes [alhamdollilah] I am Muslim. and you're wrong, we follow the prayers according to prophit Ibrahami :
Those who are knowledgeable of the Quran know that there are two sources for the religion of Islam (Submission in English).
1. The Quran which is COMPLETE, PERFECT and fully details all religious LAW.
2. Religious practices given to Prophet Abraham and passed on to us generation after generation since the time of Abraham.
"Your ONLY mission (O Muhammad) is to deliver (Quran), while it is we who will call them to account." 13:40
Quran teaches us that ALL RELIGIOUS PRACTICES IN ISLAM, (Salat, Zakat, Fasting, & Hajj) came to us from Abraham, generation after generation.
"You (O Muhammad) have no duty EXCEPT delivering (Quran)." 42:48
"The messenger has no function EXCEPT delivering (Quran)..." 5:99

Abraham was the founder of Islam (Submission in English) as we practice it today, and the one who called us "Muslims" (Submitters in English).
"You shall strive in the cause of God as you should. He has blessed you, and imposed no hardship in your religion; the RELIGION OF YOUR FATHER ABRAHAM, Abraham is the one who named you "Muslims" in the beginning. Thus, the messenger serves as witness among you, just as you serve as a witness among the people. Therefore, you shall observe the Salat prayers, give the Zakat charity, and hold fast to God; He is your Lord; the best Lord, and the best supporter." 22:78
"Abraham was neither Jewish , nor Christian; he was a monotheist; a Muslim; he never was an idol-worshiper. The people most worthy of following Abraham are those who follow him and this prophet (Muhammad), and those who believed. God is the Lord of the believers." 3:67-68

MORE PROOFS THAT SALAT OBSERVED BEFORE MUHAMMAD.
"O Mary (Mariam), you shall obey your Lord, and shall prostrate and bow down with those who bow down." 3:43
"(Jesus said) God has made me blessed wherever I go, and He commanded me to observe the SALAT PRAYERS and ZAKAT charity for as long as I live." 19:31
But the Jews and Christians lost the SALAT PRAYERS, changed it and invented their own.
"Generations came thereafter who LOST the SALAT prayers, and pursued their lusts." 19:59

MORE PROOFS:
" And we granted him (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob as a gift, and we made them righteous. And we appointed them Imams who guide in accordance with our commandments. AND WE TAUGHT THEM RIGHTEOUS WORKS AND THE OBSERVANCE OF SALAT AND ZAKAT.' 21:72-73
Unfortunately, this plain Quranic truth is not accessible by those who keep trying to prove that Quran is not complete. First they have to come to sincere conviction that Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed; they have to believe their Lord. Once they attain this conviction, the shields will be removed from around their hearts, the deafness will be removed from their ears and they will become worthy of the Quranic truth.

SALAT (CONTACT PRAYERS ) IN THE QURAN:
Many Muslims do not know that all the five prayers are mentioned in the Quran, their time is clearly mentioned in several verses and that all the steps we do are found also in the Quran.
{1} FIVE PRAYERS A DAY AND THEIR TIME :
God gave us the times for the Salat (contact Prayers) in the Quran :
(1) The Dawn Prayer (Fajr in Arabic) given in 11:114, 24:58
(2) The Noon Prayer (Zuher in Arabic) , given in 17:78 and 30:18
(3) The Afternoon Prayer (Asr in Arabic), given in 2:238
(4) The sunset Prayer (Maghrib in Arabic), given in 11:114
(5) The Night Prayer (Isha in Arabic), given in 24:58
{2} TAKBEER (Glorification of God), Allahu Akbar : The Takbeer (glorification of God) by saying Allahu Akbar for example can be found in 17:111, 2:185, 22 :37, 74:3, and 29:45
[17:110-111] " Say, "Call Him GOD, or call Him the Most Gracious; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names." You shall not utter your Contact Prayer

''Obey the messenger is conditional on having the message, the Quran.
Obey the messenger because of the message he has, the QURAN.
Obey the messenger means to follow his message that is given to him, the QURAN. ''
YES GOD ASKS US TO follow the example of Mohammed (pbuh) as IS represented in the Quran.
YOU TELL ME RIGHT NOW, why should I believe Bukhari ????? Why should I believe Al Hanafi ??? Why should I trust that every person they have quoted as a source for prophit Mohammed's hadith??? are they not human beings ? do they not make mistakes ?? no, sorry, I have chosen to follow the word of God, not that of another human... too bad you haven't yet

I never cared much about hadith issue until I joined Yahoo and that was the time when I was confronted by the problem of hadiths . It puts Muslims always on the defense , ashamed , confused and perplexed . I just wished it was never there . After reading in Quranists sites , reading the history of collecting hadiths and reading all the arguments I was HAPPY to know that I can finally get rid of them without being worried . Quranists sites are convincing in many issues . I might disagree with some of their interpretation of the Quran but the whole idea of following the Qruan alone I'm accepting it . I still like moral hadiths , doesn't make a difference to me if they're truly the prophet's sayings or not , I still like them yet they're not adding much to the moral teachings already in the Quran . Sure when I made the transition I doubted my decision because you compare yourself to the scholars and say "How come all these scholars are wrong and I'm right ?" " How come Muslims lived many years following hadiths and just lately it turned out to be wrong ?"But Christians follow their priests thinking that they're right when they're not . The corruption was gradual and it's nothing weird that some corruption might creep into Islam . Reading in Quranists sites usually reinforces my conviction . I don't care much about spreading Quran only movement because my problem is that I believe we're all Muslims whatever the sect is , if I'm convinced that they're in danger for following hadiths then I'll care but I don't believe that one is in danger if he/she followed hadiths but I was given the chance to choose and I chose not to follow hadiths and to follow the Quran alone .

The Sunnah and Hadith aren't any different than what the Quran says. They are the details to anything Allah has said in the Quran. For example: Marriage. It's mostly general in the Quran and the Prophet clarifies and adds additional detail to it.
If you don't want to believe it than don't. And those verses were NOT said to the Prophet so he could stop saying other things about Islam. They were said to prove a point. That whatever is said has to be in the bounds of the QURAN. And the Prophet always extended anything not explained in the Quran. He didn't make up things to add on to it.
Also.. A lot of the hadiths come from experiences, divine experiences by the Prophet.
Get your facts straight.

well to begin with.. i didnt read ur WHOLE question.. its too much to read.. sorry.. anyways im guna answer ur ORIGINAL QUESTION.. the one in bold black? yes...
i believe in the sunna/hadith because I believe what the profit says.. i belive in him.. god told us to do that.. its written in the quran.. i believe in him after everything i heard he did.. do u even know ur religion well? read his WHOLE life story and then ul understand what a great man he was.. You shouldnt ever doubt him.. i believe him because the angel Gabrielle was sent to him, and he told him the quraan.. If God trust him with the holy quraan, of course so many people would trust him. The profit was a role model for muslims.. people looked up to him because he was perfect.. they wanted to be like him.. which is why they believed in the sunna/hadith... i cant explain it all.. its kinda complicated.. you need to do some research in islam.. and have more faith.. :) hope i helped :)
oh and another thing to tell you.. do u even pray? cuz i seriously doubt it.. all the sunnahs of praying the rasul taught them to people.. so by praying ur following what he helped teach the people.. unless you dont pray.. and if u dont.. dont call ur self a muslima... :) peace

There are two different degrees.
The degree of Quran, which in one of the verses you mentioned, which Muhammed didn't add anything to it and was ordered to deliver it as it is.
The degree of Hadith, which is the prophet sayings and actions.
So, what is the difference between the two.
1 - We read Quran in our prayers, not Hadith.
2 - Reciting Quran is great reward, not Hadith.
3 - Allah promised to preserve Quran, not Hadith. Thats why you see Many degrees of Hadith, from strong to week, to a lie.
Looking at these differences, we understand that Quran is a HOLY book, but not Hadith.
Also, what do you say to the verses in Quran about Following and Obeying the Prophet?? That is why following the prophet is following the Quran. If you don't wish to follow the prophet, then you are not following the Quran teachings.

When ever you speek against Hadith most of muslims will ask you how will you pray? I ask them is that necassary to do what is not in Quraan.
I simply say they are flower of Immam not the followerof Allah or Muhammad (SAW).
Following of Hadith is Shirk.
Wealth lovers can not make the changes in Quraan (to change the understandings of Quraan) they wrote Hadees and Riwayaat with the title of Sunna (Tareeq, the way Mu hammed (saw) do it). Where as Quraan is Complete and all right ways are already in Quraan.
Where as Allah knows about these type of peoples and told us about them 1400 years ago
see Quraan 6-38 / 6-59 / 10-15 / 29-51 / 29-52 and more
Allah is saying again and again we cover each and every thing what you need to know nothing is left.
Then Why and What for hadeeth and Sunna are.
In other word if we need these Hadeeth and Sunna to understand the Quraan why Muhammad (saw) did not gave us these OR Quraan is not complete (nauzobilla).
To understand it clearly see history of period 20 th to 700 Higree. The age of Ganges Khan, what he did after killing the thousands of peoples, also after some struggel you can find how this existing Namaz is penetriate in Islam as a alternate of Salat.
Zoroastrians pray 7 time a day and timing of Namaz are relate with timing of Sun ( for that Namaz is not in Quraan)
MusliM___ Quote Sureh 4 Ayat 59 I ask him to please read it to understand Quraan is saying ''Atee Allah and Atee Rasool is no,t saying Atee Imam, Whereas obeying Allah And obeying Rasool is same thing one thing , not two different things

Every thing mentioned in holy Qura'n is not explained practically, So Muhammad pbuh had explained us practically through his Sunnah, as He cannot do something contradicting to the teachings of holy Qura'n.
"A'ate'ullaha wa a'ate'ur-Rasool" means follow Allah swt and follow the Messenger".
If someone not follow Muhammad pbuh, he cannot be a Muslim, but may be Qadiyani or Ahmadi.
One more thing I would like to clear to you, that Prophet Ibrahim is not the founder of Islam and His Prophet hood is no more valid as at the arrival of Muhammad pbuh, all previous Prophet hoods has been superseded.
Holy Qura'n, the word Allah swt, we have received from Muhammad pbuh, then how it is possible you not accept what he said and follow qura'n alone?
You should read more about exact circumstances (shan e nazool) of the holy verses, you have quoted.

First of all if your a Muslim you would refer to Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) with respect. You would refer to Allah(swt) as Allah(swt). Your translations are very bad and are catered to people with ignorance such as yourself. The Quran clearly states Muslims are those who believe in the Islamic Monotheism, The Quran and the teachings of Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) his sunnah... The Quran clearly spells this out. The Quran says Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) was sent the message it does not say this message is limited to the Quran. Maybe your just a troll.. 5:4850? lol sure you mean something different.
Without Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) no one would understand the Quran or Islam. Allah(swt) is the creator and Prophet Mohammed(pbuh) is the teacher....we need to give respect...

First of all, are you a Muslim?
If you are, how do you pray?
The prayers perform by Muslims today is the prayer that we followed of prophet Muhammad(pbuh). Only in the Hadith, the prayer was explained on how it was done by the prophet.
Can you show me the way we pray today as described in the Quran? Good luck!

This is the deen of islaam in truth and its fundamental and its basis is the Book and the Sunnah. So they are the points of reference in every dispute that the Muslims fall into and he who refers back to other than them is not a believer! As Allah the most Most high says:
"But no,by your Lord, they can have no faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (sallallaahu `alaihi wasallam) judge in all disputes between them and find in the, selves no resistance against your decisions and accept (them) with full submission.[1]

The ahadeeth explain many things that may seem ambiguous in the Qur'an, and the Sunnah set the examples.
For example, we are told in the Qur'an to pray, but it is the by following the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) that we know HOW to pray. We are told to perform ablution, and we know what constitutes ablution by following the sunnah.
