why does women need time for them self?

im read a question about women can not give 100% to husband and child and i wonder why women need time for her self? im not make fun to that women i just dont under stand. when im marry i want to give every thing to my man and my children! thats why im get marry for some day.

well i observe my mom and she give everything and is always happy! i think that she is personal fulfill already and do not need extra. may be im jus old fashion but it seem to work out ok.

nickie s - hello im sure you dont know how much hard it is in my country to cook clean laundry shop (no private transportation) ect and my mom have 7 child. of course we all help may be that is the difference. i guess if im ask to the different culture i get a different answer. thank you

You are a perfect lady! A man will be lucky to find a woman like you. I agree, why get married if it's not to get 100% of yourself to your partner and family.

As the guy who would benefit from your mindset, I applaud your willingness to give yourself to your husband and your children and devote yourself. This is a common mindset in a lot of cultures. However, some cultures value individuality. From where I stand, it's OK for you to take some time to explore things that you might want to do outside of taking care of the family. Whether it's hanging out with other friends or reading books or taking up karate, it's not a bad thing to take time away from your husband/family to think about things on your own.

All that said, you should go with what makes you truly happy. If you truly feel the need to be with someone who will appreciate you while being exceptionally devoted to your family, there's nothing wrong with that. Some women can take joy in service to their family, other women can't.

It's up to you how you want to approach it. All that said, feel free to look me up if you want someone who will appreciate your point of view. :)

Well, I applaud your zealous attitude toward a successful family life, but most other women feel family is just another portion, albeit a large portion, of their life. There are many other things, like hanging out with friends, achieving other personal goals, and enjoying life in general that many women want in addition to marriage - not to say they are mutually exclusive, but at least that some times there are different levels of emotion and satisfaction that come along with those feelings that one might not necessarily get with her kids and husband.

Honey I've been to your country and saw how much harder it is to do things without appliances and vehicles but I never saw anyone unhappy or complaining. No wonder many westerners are looking to the PI for a wife!

Best of luck, you sound like a sweet and unspoiled girl. My advice is to stay at home and don't let a foreigner take advantage of you!

this is coming from a woman who don't have kids are a husband,every married woman and every woman that have kids needs a break.when you are a single woman, you come and go as you want too, no kids to pester you, no husband to nag you,you are wondering why?mothers and wives run throughout the day with list of things to take care of such as cooking,cleaning,grocery shopping,washing,drying,folding,saving clothes,dr.apts,kids being sick,children going to school,homework,than on top of it all those with husbands such as myself, we do so much to make sure our family is content,we have to take care of the bedroom needs,home front and so much other things that come along with marriage and being a model mother,super mother,super wife,you say that when you get married you will give all to them,it don't work that way sista you will be just like all women that have kids,(in need of a break) you can't give all to the husband and kids... you say that now but you will see later on in the future when it's your time to become wife and mother.you will look back and say that 100% of my time and patience can't always go to the kids or my husband....you will need a huge break.

When, and only when, you have a husband and children, then you will see the importance of having time for yourself. I'm not talking about going out with the girls. I'm talking about just being by yourself and relaxing.

People are very demanding. Husbands and children are especially demanding.

own space, so she doesn't go insane.

a woman is supposed to raise kids and love their
husband, but who is loving them back? Themselves.

Schedule time for yourself, if ya don't you might get
yourself all stressed out before you could feel better.

All people need time for themselves. Tt is part of growing. You have time to think about your life, what you need to improve, etc... Wait until you are married and have children. You will definitely wish you had more time for yourself.

cultural or personal preference. you are as you are, in part, because of what your culture and family have shown to you. as you age, new information will occur that allow you to change or modify your beliefs. as these opportunities occur you will, with luck, make the right choices.

to prepare evrything for themself specially f they do have a date for someone special person or samthing w/c is very important for them , u know it a logic for a women to have time for themself to think, to put evrything in into proper or let say most of the women wanted to be organized their evryday routine...
