Good question.
I have ancestors on my mother's side who were Native American - and I consider myself to be part Native American.
My mother's other ancestors came from Germany before the American Revolution. They fought for our country's independence in the Revolutionary War. They left Germany because of the privations of the 30 years war. They migrated, but they migrated legally.
On my father's side, my heritage is Russian and Arab. They too migrated legally - registered at Ellis Island and eventually received their citizenship. They left Russia because they saw the Russian Revolution coming and knew that as people who had been awarded by the Czar, they would be caught up in a reign of terror.
That said, I don't think that any of them migrated because of the so-called "American Dream". That idea did not exist in their times. Also, they legally declared themselves as immigrants to the duly constituted authorities in their respective times when they arrived. They were lawfully admitted and they lawfully acquired citizenship. Those who were Native Americans were, by birth right, citizens from the start of the United States.

You are wrong. As as always been the case, land does not belong to the people who were originally there. Native American's within the United States used to do war with each other over territory and the winner would claim the loser's land as their own. This is no different from what the Europeans have done. They came here and conquered the land and made it there own. Illegal Immigrants have no right to the land, they have not conquered America and it's army, they are simply leeching off resources that they have not earned or contributed towards.
Additionaly, back in the day, most people came to the USA in a legal fasion, through Ellis Island and other immigration outposts. They didn't come in the back of a truck with 12 other people and then take our government issued benefits without contributing towards the program.

I think YOU need to be educated. "Native Americans" would never have been called so except that "America" was founded by your so-called "illegal" immigrants. Before the founding of ANY country, people "migrate." It is IMPOSSIBLE to immigrate unless a state has been founded and borders established. "Native Americans" MIGRATED onto what we now call the Americas. They came in waves, so according to your logic, anyone who came after the first 20 or so who were the initial migrants, are all "illegal immigrants." Or, do you mean that even those first 20 or so were illegal because the wooley mammoths and the bison were the only legal residents of this continent?
Waves and waves of peoples from all corners of the earth continued to come to the Americas from the beginning of time until it was colonized by the Europeans and states were founded and borders established. They MIGRATED to North and South America and founded states and established borders. After that, waves and waves of people from all corners of the earth LEGALLY IMMIGRATED (note the difference between migration and immigration) to the colonies and later, once they were established, to the USA, Canada, Mexico, etc. Before and after the colonization of the continent, "Native Americans" migrated north, south, east, west into and out of one another's territory. Some tribes settled in one place. They would battle each other for territory, or co-exist peacefully according to their needs and the available resources. The Europeans either battled for the territory, or bought it from the "Native Americans" who resided there. Either way, the land was usually acquired in the tradition of the "Native Americans" who lived on that land.
This is the stupidest argument that is used over and over again. By the way, my family is a mix of "Native," very recent and early immigrants, and some unwilling immigrants (i.e. slaves), and my husband has not yet immigrated at all. I live as a LEGAL alien in a foreign country. Our child is a citizen of two countries and a LEGAL alien of a third. It's about being LEGAL and making it fair and safe for EVERYONE. If you support illegal immigration, you support exploitation of people without rights. You support the rejection of poor people around the world who are desperate for the "American Dream" but do not have the opportunity to illegally immigrate and cannot legally immigrate because their potential jobs are filled by illegal immigrants who are not being paid fair and legal wages.
Figure it out! You are the evil one who supports exploitation and racism against peoples who cannot sneak across a border because they live across an ocean. You are in the wrong. Get off your high horse and support legal rights for everyone.

Poorly written and rambling question with a poorly thought out premise. I would say, based on your question, that YOU could use further education. The biggest contrast between what you try to propose and the problems we have today is that the immigrants of time past were here legally, and were mostly documented. They assimilated into America, even though they brought their customs with them, this only served to complement us as a melting pot nation. The Latin American immigrants of today want to skulk across the border illegally, absorb the services that we who work and pay taxes legally provide, send the money they draw from our economy back to whatever 3rd world toilet they came from, and then ***** and moan and protest about being picked on for doing it. All the while rubbing in the faces of the people who they are leeching off of the fact that they are not Americans, and have no intention of assimilating into our society. Gee, I wonder why we are upset.
I guess my answer would be NO. you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

We did get educated and when the Pilgrims pulled up part of my family was there . We immigrated with the mammoth across the ice shelf looking for food . Part of yours came here just because they where to lazy to make their country a better place to live . So they decided to illegally come to a country that had already fought and worked to make this a great country . Oh well that won't matter to you because you only see yourself as someone who is better than God and only your opinion counts . Do use all a favor don't breed we have enough assholes in Washington

Obviously you don't understand! I traced my lineage back to the 1600's on this continent. My ancestors were settlers from England. The Native Americans had no concept of government when the europeans arrived and no concept of borders and treaties and international boundaries.
Now, you theorize that because my ancestors were among the early settlers in the British Colonies in the Americas, that somehow, I am supposed to think that an INVASION from another country is supposed to be acceptable to me.
And yes, by the way, there is some "Native American" ancestry mixed up in my ancestry as well, only back then nobody knew what a "Native American" was, they were Mohawk Indians.
Now for the pervasive illegal allien source, ask Mexico how they feel about the illegals comming up from central America ...

First, let me tell you that no one is a FOOL .
It really does not matter if our family was native american. We were born in this country therefore am entitled to citizenship. Someone born here is in fact "pure american " as you put it. The BORDERS exist so that we do not have any BOARDERS. We need legal taxpayers. Especially in PennsYlvania! That being said, please understand that
there is a legal way to gain entry through the borders and it is an issue that people come here illegally and we are paying for that. If the people came here legally we would not be paying for their share of services. I personally believe there is plenty of land here and we are a culture that is a melting pot of people from various origins. I have no problem with people wanting to come here for a better life. It is not that I am unsympathetic, it just is that I do not want to finance their better life. I can't afford to do it . If we did want to pay their way, we really would be the FOOLS.

Okay ..let me try to tackle this ..we all migrated over here from some where ..well most of us anyways...but i really do have deep sympothy for most of the imigrants that are trying to come over , and i think it is pretty nasty that Americans pay them such cheap rates when they work there but off , believe it or not they dont even pay them min wgae...Okay if they are over here first things 1st , they must have Amerian pride ..illegal or not , if they are living the Americ dreal illgeal or on a work visa they need to wave that American flag , after 911 happen , i drove past a hispanic appartment complex and they had the mexican flag hanging up , only like 1 or 2 had the american flag hanging..agin this was right after 911 when everyone was hanging american flags , that kinda upset me..number 2 , they are not vacinated , they are bringing turberulois over here..I'm for imigrants better than sel..absolutley ,,but i'm also for keeping my kids safe ..we had several outbreaks of t.b. in our schools , all traced back to illegals..when my parents where kids they were vacinated for t.b. ,,,my generation was not vacinated for t.b because it was basically non existant ,,now since the strain of imigration has been comming over illegaly , t.b. outbreaks every where , managetis outbreaks ..i'm sure you dont want those twin girls of yours to catch mangetis and t.b just like i dont want my kids to catch it...i feel if the us gov is gonna turn a blind eye to immigration they need to have every kid in the usa vacinated for t.b. and other rare illness that are making a come back..it should be required just like booster shots...im for imigrates but against my kids getting sick ..

Most of us are at least a few hundred books ahead of, and frankly, a bit embarrassed for you. I give you credit for trying, though.
Nobody comes here for "land", as they did when ag methods were marginally productive. People come here for MONEY! Read: a vibrant, complex economy.
How does that economy work? Law. If law is discarded, agreements will be unenforceable, deals will dive into a tailspin one-by-one and soon, that vibrant economy will be a distant memory.
In short, without a nearly unwavering adherence to law, there will be NOOOOO money. We'll all be living in a third-world world, so to speak.
Get educated, Mom!
