I want to learn french, I already know the basics but I want to speak french fluently. I'm still a child so if you can please suggest a good free website.
I could ask my parents for french lessons but I don't wanna get it that far. I'm just a child that likes the language.

I learned French the old fashioned way, from a book, but it was a lot of work. Today, there are so many wonderful resources on the Internet. I think a lot of language the podcasting sites are a good place to start if your goal is to just be able to speak and listen. You can download the mp3 files they offer to your computer or player.

In particular, look in the archives (just search the page for "archives") and start from the first lessons that might have been posted two or three years ago -- as they usually begin with basics -- numbers, colors, etc.

Well at school I use a book called Bien Dit! It works very well, and tells you little bits and facts about the culture along the way.

(when I was a little boy my paw paw and me we'd go fishing for shrimp, crawfish, blue crabs, oysters, and red fish. We have many good times on the bayou. I love to be a Cajun!!)

Cajun French is a little different than modern French. If you wish to learn such a beautiful language as French search for some French language websites. Go to the Library/bookstore. There is beaucoup info on the French language, oui!
