I am hosting a 30th birthday party for a girlfriend of mine and I would like to use the theme from the year she was born. She was born in 1977. Any ideas?

A disco theme since Saturday Night Fever was introduced the same year. Star Wars was also released as was Rocky but those seem a bot more masculine to me. You could also use M*A*S*H. It took some Emmy's that year. Good luck in your planning.
