One of my favorites...color 2 small pans of raw, uncooked rice...1 red or pink and the other blue...hide some small diaper pins in them....blind fold 2 people at a time. The person with the most pins wins. Sounds easy but the pins arent that easy to find lol. Some other game ideas........
* Name that food....cover or take labels off the food....guess the name of the food using sight, smell and maybe a small taste.
*Memory Game...Make a basket of baby items for the Mother to Be...set it on a table (perhaps her gift receiving table) for others to see....I'd use this as a last game....go over the items, hide it so no one can see it....hand out sheets of paper for everyone to write thier answers on....give them about 1 minute to guess everything that was in the basket. Most correct answers win and the Mother to Be gets to keep the basket of items. ☺
*Clothes Pin Game....When all the guest arrive, give them about 3 clothes pins to start with. This game is played through out the party. Whenever anyone crosses her legs, a person can take a clothes pin. Example....Aunty Anne sees Aunty Martha cross her legs and says Can I have a clothes pin? You just crossed your legs lol The person who calls out first gets the pin...No fighting allowed ladies! lol Towards the end of the party, the lady with the most clothes pin wins.
*Measure Mommy....Go around to each guest with a ball of yarn. Have them guess how big Mommy is without measuring the Mother to Be. Cut a peice of the yarn the size she thinks she is. Whoevers yarn comes the closest to fitting the Mother to Be wins.

I love parties lol But I better stop now. I think I took up alot of space. You can always email me if you want or need any help. ☺ Take care and Have fun. Peace! Oh and Congrats to the new parents and baby. ☺☺

Well, I went to this baby shower and the mom-to-be walked into the room with a robe on wearing baby items. The people had ten seconds to memorize everything that was on the robe. I think it was called Mommy Mayhem or something. And there was another game called Baby Bingo and it's the same thing as regular bingo but The mommy-to-be would start opening the gifts and if you had that item you would put a little marking chip on that item. There was also Guess the Mess, another game where someone would take the label off the baby food and the people would have to smell it and guess what kind of baby food it was. And there was also the game where you would cut off the length you think the mommy's belly would be!!

Hope I helped!!

One game that people don't expect is a variation of the memory game... instead of bringing a tray or basket of baby stuff to memorize, have the mommy-to-be sneak out of the room for a minute and have everyone write down as many things as they can remember that she was wearing. Another one (if the shower is women only) is to give each guest a clothespin as they come in the door. Each time a guest is caught sitting without her legs crossed, someone can steal their clothespin. Whoever has the most clothespins at the end wins. You can also print out papers with the names of the mom and dad, and either have everyone come up with baby names or a list of baby items that you can make with the letters of their names. Whoever has the most wins.

Guess the mess is good but up the ante - don't just use candy - use some funky stuff as well to make it more interesting. Also one, get a large empty jar (like a costco sized pickle or jar), again, EMPTY, fill the bottom of it with pushpins...tie a rope around a hot dog then around the players' waist and make them bob - the one with the most pins, wins. Yes it's a bit pervers but its hysterical to watch the more composed in the group play along.
Another easy one.... the guests take a roll of toilet paper and pull off how long around they think the mother is.

At my sister's baby shower it was many games played that i never heard of or played at any other shower. For one game they got different kinds of baby foods and took off the labels. We had to guess what the food was by tasting a little of it. For another game they got toilet tissue, people had to guess the size of her belly. The person who's amount of toilet tissue they ripped off was the same as her belly was the winner.

Guess the mess. Put a melted candy bar in a diaper and youhave to guess what it is.

Keep your shower women only. If you're lucky the men might act indifferent about being at the shower.
