Yes, 192/104 is DANGEROUSLY HIGH. You need to make an appointment to see your doctor ASAP. You should be on 'prescription high blood pressure medication' and a 'no salt' diet until your BP is 'safely under control' ... and you may require taking HBP medication for the rest of your life.

That is a pretty high reading on your blood-pressure. I would personally recommend seeing your Doctor to get good advice on what to do in order to bring your blood-pressure down to a safer level and to get a prescription-medication to help in lowering it, if the Doctor advises it (which I am sure they will) & then continue maintaining/monitoring it.
I've just gone online again & looked up some more information regarding BP levels. If indeed this Blood Pressure instrument your Mother-In-Law uses to check her BP is accurate (keep in mind, she depends on it)- It is absolutely imperative that you see your Doctor soon! It certainly won't hurt to go see your Doctor & it may save your life!

First of all, you can't be sure her machine is accurate. However if it is, you are in an emergency situation and need to get to an ER or Urgent care asap. There is no quick fix. Drink some water to try and flush some of the salt out of your system, but get to a doctor. You could stroke out if that BP isn't brought under control quickly.

You need to have this evaluated by a medical professional. Please contact your Doc!! High blood pressure can be the result of many factors. There are no quick fixes. But, decrease your salt intake, watch your cholesterol intake, avoid fats, etc. High blood pressure can lead to more serious problems. Lose weight if you are overweight. Are you a Diabetic??

your systolic pressure (192) is way too high, if you are taking the BP at rest.
You are suffering from severe hypertension. Go see a doctor immediately.

I once went to the dr w/ BP 180-120.
he wanted to send me directly to a hospital. We compromised by my agreeing to undergo an ekg and lab work before the day was over, or he wouldn;t treat me.
Yes, it;s dangerous.,
You need BP meds, quick.
