I am a die-hard Bobby LaBonte fan. I wanted to see how many other people knew things about Bobby.
1) Who was the car owner for Bobby's first Cup ride?
2) What was the car sponsor and number?
3) Who owned the car that was driven by Bobby, in his first full season as a cup driver
4) Sponsor and number of that car.
5) Bobby has one win at Bristol. This was a Busch race. Can you tell me the car number, sponsor, and year?

I'm sure some of these are wrong, but this is the best to my memory, Huge Labonte Fan, gotta love a guy from the great state of Texas, plus he is one of the nicest, most curteous drivers there are, that's left.
Always like Bobby and Terry, great guys!!

Bobby would do great over there, no question. Bobby has done great his whole career and the 96 team is crap! When he was still with the 18 car, the reason he started fading there was because of Tony, he was gettin all the best equipment over there. I know they say that all drivers for a team get the same stuff but I don't believe a word of it! Some is probably specially tuned for the "main" guy(s). Why do you think back in the mid to late 90's Jeff Gordon was dominating at Hendrick when Terry was there in the 5 car, Terry could still compete but Gordon was getting the best stuff, especially after the 96 season when Jeff won 10 races and Terry won 2 and he won the championship. It all comes down to equipment and who is supplying it and who is getting it. I feel sorry for Tony in the final 10 races because now that Hendrick has got him in the chase, I don't believe that Rick will let a rival team, even though they use the same stuff, will let him beat his own team! I know I rattled on and went slightly off topic, but, Bobby would do good in good equipment, and I would like to see him in a series that he would be a contender week in and week out, just like in 1999-2000 he won tons of races and was highly conistent. I would want to be in a series where I ran up front no matter if it was Cup, Nationwide or Truck.

OK, here goes:

1) BLeB ran two races in '91 in his own ride. Bill Davis owned his cars from '93-'94. Bobby drove for Joe Gibbs 95-05, and now he's with Petty Enterprises.
2) Sugar Frosted Cocoa Bombs? (J/K). Got me there.
3) That'd be Bill Davis.
4) Refraining from another goofy answer- I don't know.
5) Hmmm. Don't know.

Bobby Labonte rocks!!! He's definitely one of my top 5. Just a cool dude who likes to drive and doesn't stir up a bunch 'o' crap. Hey- 472 consecutive starts going into 2007.
