No. They are taking a chance of contracting the virus (especially if it is unprotected sex), but it's not a guarantee!

It's the same with any kind of STD. If a person has sex with someone who has a STD, they are taking the chance of contracting it themselves.

Nothing in life is guaranteed but the chance is definitely there. Your risk level depends on the sexual activity you participated in. The order, from highest risk to lowest risk is: anal sex, vaginal sex, oral sex then mutual masturbation. A condom will reduce your chances of infection, when used properly. The only body fluids that transmit the HIV virus are Blood, Semen, Vaginal fluids & breadstmilk. These are the only fluids you need to worry about. The person who is "receiving those fluids" is more at risk than the "giver", however any contact with any of these fluids is a risk. Again, using a condom will lower your risk, when used properly; a water based lubricant can also reduce your risk of contracting the virus, although the lubricant is no where near as reliable as the condom because the fluids are still present. From the time you are infected with the HIV virus it takes at least 30 days in most cases (rare cases 3 months and even rarer cases 6 months) before it shows up on the OraSure test. If you are worried about a particular incident I would test after the 30 day mark (& after the 6 month mark for 100% accuracy), but remember, any unprotected sexual activity will affect these time periods. Many places offer FREE HIV testing, both annonymous & confidentially...If you need more info, let me know...

it all depends on the sexual acts you engage in, but there isn't any sexual acts where you will DEFINITELY contract the disease, there are different factors when it comes to percentage of transmission, but if you have sex with someone that is HIV+ yes you are at a high risk, but just by putting on a condom puts you at almost no risk. condoms are 98% effective against HIV, but they're only 98% effective if you use them consistently and correctly, why not 100%? well it would be 100% if some people knew how to use them correctly, less than 2% of condoms break or tear.

No, but you are playing a game of russian roullette. You can get aids through one contact. It heavily depends on what kind of sexual intercourse you are speaking of, and the health of the people participating, skin lessions ect. If you have indeed had unprotected sex with an aids carrier you need to see a health professional immediately and start a round of tests and examinations.

There is a very high chance of contracting the disease, but not 100 %.

Better get checked within one month.

no it doesn't always transmit the disease. you wont know for a few months for sure though because it can stay dormant for a while and give you a negative during the first couple of months. it is easier to spread from a man to others, though, because of semen. Did you wear a condom?

No, they do not, the chances are actually pretty low. It depends on what type of sexual activity was practiced, and what the viral load was of the person who was positive. The website I've linked to seems to explain it pretty simply.

You get AIDS for sure by exchanging bodily fluids... this includes sexual fluids. if you have sex with someone infected it's very possible you have got the disease. One should get checked out immediately, no joke. Before the infection gets outta hand. if the person who they slept with didn't use protection, you are LEGALLY able to sue them if you get the disease....

No. But there is a high risk of catching it. There are measures you can take to lower the risks. But there is a chance that you won't catch it if your careful.
