Tomorrow, I will be a vegetarian for 14 weeks! *happy dance* hehe.

It's the best thing that I've ever done. =)

My brother is hoping to become a vegetarian in a couple of years, so it will be awesome to not be the only vegetarian in my house. My mum said that if he goes veggie, then she might as well go veggie too. =D

I am a vegetarian myself!!

I won't go vegan and for the following reasons:

1. Most Vegans are just a little to wacked out for me, look at the peta vegans.

2. Its healthier! Most of the vitamins vegetarians are not getting come from dairy type foods and other foods vegans do not eat.

Plus, a huge source of high quality protein is dairy. Sorry, but I cannot just eat nothing but soybeans for high quality protein. Besides, eating to much soy is actually bad for you as the studies have proven.

3. Its way too restricting! I like to mix things up and eat a variety of foods.

I'm a vegetarian and I really enjoy it. I feel healthier and more energetic, plus I know that I'm getting my protein from a food that didn't have to go through torture... however I respect the opinions of everyone and what they eat, because everyone has the right to their own opinion.

And, Anna D, it isn't necissary- try researching some vegetarian sites... www.goveg.com is good, as well as www.vegcooking.com. You might enjoy these sites!

I'm not a vegetarian, but I enjoy vegetarian meals more than meat meals. But it is still necessary to eat some meat right?

I used to be vegan, but now I'm neither. I normally only eat chicken and tuna, but sometimes that's hard to eat as well. Once I started eating meat again, I discovered that a lot of meat seemed discusting to me.
