Yep. I love almonds, walnuts (cooking with), cashews, and pistachios.
Nuts and beans are great sources of protein, but because nuts can be high in fat (albeit a healthier fat), you shouldn't go nuts eating them (ha!). I'm getting used to beans, but I still have to eat them with something crunchy to really tolerate them, but that's a taste/texture issue for me.

I think for the most part that most people, no matter what dietary lifestyle they choose, eat nuts and beans.

Yes, vegetarians eat that, just NO meat, or any food with meat in it. Or not beans cooked with meat.

yeah of course they do ,they got must of their nutrients especially protein from nuts and beans instead of meat .milk and egg etc

Uh - hu...also refried beans are usually made with lard which is melted animal FAT so we don't eat those.

yes, of course! they are a great source of protein along with soy products (tofu, tempeh, veggie burgers), seeds, legumes, eggs, and dairy.
