dlife.com is a wonderful site. The site is dedicated to the diabetic and includes info on type 1 and 2. There are people there to help, professionals that is, and can answer questions and give you up to date, factual info. There are areas for everyone in the form of a forum for the diabetics. Go to the site and look it over. It's great!!!!!!

www.lef.org has an amazing article about type 2 diabetes and how some people have reversed it. thats the best support you can get - kicking something that people think is impossible to get rid of.

Hey,
There are a lot of Diabetes Online Communities that offer support. Those of us who regularly *blog* or post on diabetes "OC" boards have a bit of a support group from within. I welcome anybody and everybody who wishes to read (and feedback for support) to contact me! I blog for The Diabetes Blog (www.thediabetesblog.com) and I always welcome suggestions for blogs or questions on diabetes (drugs, tips or anything else that needs consideration). I hope my message helps. Don't hesistate to contact me with questions or comments. Thanks!! ;)

Search Yahoo Health groups. holistic-health@yahoogroups is a generally good group for all health disorders. Email me separately for more help if needed. I can refer you to some good books available at amazon, barnesandnoble etc.
