whats it like knowing you have an STD?

It doesn't bother me. At first I was really upset and shocked. I was depressed, hurt, angry, you name it. Now that I have had genital herpes and HPV for 6+ years it doesn't even faze me anymore.
It's really not NEARLY as bad as people make it out to seem. Of course the outbreaks are painful, but they heal! And, there is always a chance of spreading the virus, but there are certain precautions a couple can take to help prevent the spread of STDs.
It's NOT the end of the world, trust me!

you feel dirty like how did this happen to me? my husband gave it to me, i felt so low when i was in the doctors office while they were asking how my relationship was with my husband i was so embarrassed i guess its different for all people, but that's how it made me feel.
