You need to head to the doctor!! If you are taking it and it's not working..... not saying it's you but sometimes people don't take this as serious as they should and it ends in the unthinkalbe.... my cousin didn't take it serious enough..... go to the doctor just so you'll be okay! The neb normally works... if you have to keep taking it there's a problem.

Albuterol can be taken safely four times a day. That's the normal daily maximum.
Do you track your peak flows (with a peak flow meter)? If you are less than 80%, you might want to get a doctor appointment ASAP. If you are less than 60%, get yourself to the ER promptly.
You might benefit from a visit to your doctor as soon as you can get an appointment, or go to a walk-in clinic if your doctor won't be able to see you for a while. If you are feeling like your asthma is out of control, got to the hospital. Asthma kills people sometimes. Don't become a statistic from something that's treatable.
From a pharmacological perspective, your inhaled steroid dose may need to increased. Another possibility is that you might benefit from Advair with it's long acting bronchodilator (Serevent). Your medications were prescribed based on the worst of your symptoms at the time. It sounds like your situation is different now and your asthma treatment plan might need to be re-assessed.

I don't know where you are, but in most of the western United States, it's the really really bad alergy season. I have Asthma too. My rescue inhaler isn't quite enough for me right now. You may need to go in to the Emergency Room for some respritory therapy. Maybe your albuterol for the nebulizer is out of date? Meantime, use a vaporizer with vicks in the tray ( don't use a humidifier) by your bed, also, a hot steamy shower can sometimes help open the constricted airways.

Ah you sound exactly like I do in winter! The cold weather causes my asthma to be so bad I have once required my ventolin 9 times one day! You probably need to see your GP or asthma specialist, who will prescribe a course of oral prednisone (which is a tablet or liquid - an oral steroid which keeps the airways open). Can I just say, if they do, pick the tablets unless you have issues taking them - the liquid tastes FOUL. So do the tablets, but at least they go quickly... eugh....

do you take daily medication also? well i take advair and singular(for my allergies) because when my allergies act up it triggers my asthma, so maybe you need daily medications if your not taking any or allergy pill. inhalers might help. if you don't take daily medicines for your asthma then that might really be all that you need, advair is really good medicine but it doesn't work for everyone. i used to be on volmax a long time ago and that didn't help me at all advair stopped me from weezing a lot.
