It is just a pretty sounding campaign logo to get attention as chicken dominates the market. Chicken it used in so many recipes and appears to be rather versitle and since many people don't know what to do with pork besides cook it up as chops I think the Pork Advisory Board has had to come up with something catchy to get there product to sell. Just a guess...

Pigs are not filthy animals. If allowed adequate space, they will stay very clean.
If anything is a filthy animal, it's a chicken. Mine have 20 acres to roam and they still can't keep from stepping in chicken crap every chance they get.

I think pork is THE white meat and CHICKEN is a name for fithy foul fowl. Pigs are MUCH cleaner than chickens!
