Vegetarian Times once named the Taco Bell bean burrito as the best, most reliably available veg fast food option. I think that was before the BK veggie burger. I've never tried the BK option because I wonder if it's just thrown on the same grill as the beef burgers are cooked on. I eat as little fast food as possible and wouldn't spend a dime of my hard earned money at McDonald's after the french fry fiasco. If I have to do fast food I prefer Subway because I can control exactly what's in my sandwich.

Fast food is really hard when you are a vegetarian. i get salad bowls at McDonalds and a shake. I have vegetarian piza with chilli. I lke vegetarian asian soups but sometimes you cant get vegetarian stock. Bean burritos are good. When I am travelling I take my own food - a can of three bean mix and a spoon. A packet of pop corn, a variety of vegetables and fruits. I keep a few cans of bean mix in the car with some plastic forks.

Ewww, everyone is recommending those veggie burgers at BK, but personally I would never eat them from there because they use the same oil that they use to cook the animal burgers and I have this nasty thought that some of the meat might go on the veggie burger even if its a tiny it..I wouldn't want any part of it ^.^
Don't eat it. : )
When i go to these place this is what i get (i try to avoid them though, most places gross me out)
BK; coffee. a plain simple salad..
Mickey D's; coffee. a plain mcsalad shaker..
Taco bell; coffee. rice and bean burrito, or just a plain bean(without cheese) burrito, bean Tostada (without cheese), nachos without cheese, mexican Rice (without cheese), seven layer Burrito (no sour cream or no cheese) and the guacamole.

At some "participating" Burger King restaurants, they sell Morningstar Farms Veggie Burgers. The burgers actually have carrots, black beans and potatoes in them. Personally, I really like them. :-)
As for Mc Donald's and Taco Bell, I really don't eat at those places. (sorry)
You could always go to Subway for a Veggie Delight!

Anything at Taco Bell is good, just replace the meat with beans! Especially the Chalupas and the Crunchwrap Supremes, delicious!
Whenever I go to McDonalds, Burger King or Wendys I always order a nice big burger, minus the burger! Load up the veggies. It's actually very delicious.
If you go to KFC or anywhere of the sort load up on some yummy side dishes, such as potatoes, mac & cheese, coleslaw and corn.

I like the salads at mcdonalds, but not as much as homemade food. why not pack a lunch box with your lunch instead?
