Was looking at Lafuma Extreme 800+40 sleeping bag and it looked like a good price and very light weight. Plan on using it in Kings Canyon in combination with 3 season tent. Would this work comfortably?

For the Sierra it's recommend to use at a 20°F - 30°F sleeping bag for three season use. I think 40° is a little light. Also, though many people disagree, I prefer a synthetic sleeping bag to down simply because the down bag doesn't dry as fast as synthetic. And Lafuma really isn't a very high quality brand, at least for sleeping bags.

The words cheap , light weight and warm should not be used in the same question. Those things are all relevant terms. My sleeping bag weights 1 lb and is very comfy at 15 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. However I paid $300 for it.
