Since Gelatin has animal products, what would a vegan use to substitute jello (a store bought brand) if possible?

Well, I know there's a gelatin substitute that's vegan. I've never cooked with it, but I've gone to Asian grocery stores to buy things that are made out of it. It's pretty good to me, yet I've grown up eating the stuff anyway. Here's some information on it. It's called agar.

Try a kosher market or the kosher section of your grocery store. Some Kosher gelatins do not contain animal products, but some do. Check the label.
