I am a vegan and if I didn't trust the person who was cooking, or they were a meat eater, I wouldn't eat at their homes.

I personally wouldn't be able to stand the thought of meat sitting on the same counter as my food, so I would invite them to my place instead!

I have had some food that was tainted with meat and I felt so depressed, and angry with myself. The cereal I ate had beef gelatin in it, and I wanted to throw up and scream all at once. I was so heart broken I couldn't talk for an hour. I just kept beating myself up. My fiancee had to talk to me, and remind me that I was doing my very best and mistakes happen. Life will go on, and I am doing my part in saving animals from pain, even if I made a mistake. This was about a month ago, and now I am over it. I've emailed the company and told them about how I felt about eating their product with animal in it, they didn't care, but it made me feel better. So, if this happend with a friend, I guess I would do the same. Get really upset, scream, not talk to them. And then when I calm down, have words with them and get on with my life.

They wouldn't be a friend though anymore, that is for sure.

I don't really think someone could. I pay very close attention to what I eat, I don't eat anything that could have meat. And I wouldn't eat something that someone I didn't trust tried to give me. Of course, I'm not vegan, I'm vegetarian. But since you said meat, I think it applies to me.

I would feel betrayed by that person. I would re-evaluate our relationship.
Sometimes people really believe they're doing it for our health, or to teach us a lesson. So misguided.
I guess I'd just tell the person how terrible they'd made me feel, and then get out of his or her space before I started throwing things.

I'd be devastated to have that kind of crap in my body, and I'd undoubetly get sick since my both no longer knows how to handle flesh. I'd most likely have my head in the toilet all day and all night.

Second of all, I'd be FURIOUS are whoever did it! That's 100% disrespectful of the personal beliefs and lifestyle choice of others, not to mention rude and immature. People like that need to get schooled.

Well, I think you answered it-- I'd feel tricked. There is a reason that person is a vegan. Sneaking meat to them is cruel, and is they realized it (and I'm sure they would), there would be a severe lack of trust.

Very doubtful the would happen, I'm pretty cautious when it comes to food and I like to double check with most things before I eat them.

If I were a vegan, i would feel horrible since it's my oath to not eat meat. Then all of a sudden I ate meat. I would feel pissed also since that person knows that I don't eat meat, then they should respect my religion.

Probably the same way if someone tricked me into eating a cigarette.

If you were a meat eater, how would you feel if someone tricked you into eating poop?
Wanna come over for dinner?
