I can buy some ice-cream, but I really don't want to use whipped cream and fudge/banana as toppings. I have used those ideas already. :) So, I need something that's quick, looks delicious and feels like I spent a lot of time on it. :) I checked online, but they kept giving me ice-cream ideas LOL

Fresh fruit sorbet:

Mango Sorbet
INGREDIENTS
4 mangos - peeled, seeded, and cubed
1 cup simple syrup
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
DIRECTIONS
Place cubed mango in a food processor, and puree. Pour in simple syrup and lime juice, and puree until smooth.
Place in an ice cream maker. Freeze thoroughly.

If you don't have an ice cream maker then simply pour into a sealed bowl and freeze for 2-4 hours before you serve.

ok, i tell u, this recipe will impress all that comes to your house...

all u need is: 300ml double cream and 100 grm of dark good quality chocolate 1 tablespoon of caster suger...

bring half of the double cream to the boil, add the chocolate, sugar, then remove from the heat and stir until the chocolate has dissolved. leave it to cool on the side but dont let it set. while thats happening whip the rest of the cream until stiff.

then gently fold the melted chocolate mixture into the whipped cream until well mixed, fill the little cups or ramekins with the mixture and refrigerate for an hour or until set.

you can be posh and serve the portions in individual little glass pots if u like, but i dont have those and just serve them in glass espresso cups...

you will end up with a rich and delicious desert, simple to make, easy to eat with some wine, and not too overwhelming.

we serve this after paella in our house to guests and they are always uuuuummmmmmmm...

Whipped Cream Recipe-It's so EASY AND QUICK! 1 Cup of Heavy Cream 2 Tablespoons Sugar Dash of vanialla extract Beat together with mixer until peaks forms (you can really make this tasty by adding a splash of flavored liquer or even adding a little nutmeg!)

get some baking mix from the super market - a can of sliced fruits (pineapple or apricot -i like apricot-) sugar n cinnamon... put in the baking sheet some butter (apply it with your fingertips just enough so that the mix won t stick)add the baking mix (on the box u will find info about servings per person) put the fruit on top n then in a bowl mix cinnamon with sugar ...sprinkle a generous amount n bake for 20 min...ready n delicious!!!To make it more superbe if u already have the ice-cream put a scoop (vanilla) in the plate next to each piece... desert#2 chocolate mousse (the one you can make in 5 min.with cold milk from the super market bakin aisle) in martini glasses (costs less than $1 a glass from the dollar store) slice some strawberries (put 4-5 pieces per glass ,mixed with the mousse) top with whip cream and all you need is a long spoon..... desert#3 super fast .... plain pound cake.... cut nice slices -not 2 thick- n get some cool whip put it in a bowl n squeeze a lemon (for the whole bowl of cool whip)n stir with a spoon.put on top of each slice a scoop n top with a mint leaf... Perfect with coffee......(u can do it with orange instead of lemon n top with a small cinnamon stick n just a tiiiiiny sprinkle of cinnamon) GOOD LUCK n keep those recipies in a drawer cause they take max 20 min 2 make n they look like you reaaaaally worked on them.......HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw an episode on the Food network where they took chocolate chip cookies put ice cream in the middle and roll it in different toppings like sprinkles and other cookie bits. That's a really good idea. Also try to get a cheesecake. That never fails!

I had something really really yummy that somebody made. It was very simple too. Unfortunately, I don't know the recipe but you could probably do it without. It was vanilla ice cream and pink lemonde mixed together (like in a blender) then put into graham cracker pie crust. You simply freeze it and then serve. It was delicious, and something I hadn't had before.

everthing small, colorful.on a stick looks yummy.make more than a dish.one with chopped fruits try a whole small fruits like grapes or the one that don't get black like banana and apples .bring a little sticks and do in some order grapes ,mango slice ,kiwi slice orange...
choose 3 to 4 type on one stick but not more..
or try cutting some bread into small square shapes add above it some cheese and Salamis or cheese and grapes..or what ever you like some vegetables like cucumbers and tomatoes........
and try to bring some sweats and food of other culture if you have some stores near you its a nice idea but make sure that you taste it first and unless you really like it .don't bring it.

This doesn't take a lot of time... but I get raves every time I use it.

Use a good quality ice cream preferably one without additives in it..

Take a shot of your favourite whiskey... either Jack's or a good Scotch... pout it on the ice cream and then take a pinch of really fresh ground coffee and sprinkle on top.

Simple, fast easy and usually appreciated... especially with a high quality booze!

You can try making jello towers. What you do is make jello using different colors and flavors. When you make it, use a square mould when its cooling so it will take that shape. Stack the different colors of jello on top of each other to make a tower! Squirt a dab of whipped cream on the top, and bon-appetite!

Good luck, hope i helped ☺

with all the fresh berries and fruit in season, i would buy pound cake and angel food cakes prepared, cut them into chunks and serve with fresh fruits and whipped cream. have a dessert bar set up with different fruits and cake available with whipped cream and caramel sauce, strawberry sauce too. let guests put together what they want on the shortcakes.
