Kraft owns Nabisco, Post Cereals, Oscar Meyer, and Toblerone. Kraft itself is owned by Altria (formerly Philip Morris.)

Well, if the comment was coming from a Vegan, it would likely have to do with the fact that Kraft uses real milk, actual eggs, etc to make their products, and a Vegan does not consume any animal product or by-product. This means more than just the meat.

They are owned by Phillip Morris, and that company bothers a lot of people. Maybe that was it? Plus, I think of most large corporations in a negative way, but that's me.
