No.

It'd be imposible for me to even think about that. My grandfather made sure I couldn't smoke. My family raised tobacco, not used it. One day we were out working in the barn ( if you've ever been in a tobacco barn during summer the air is hot , stickey and oily ) my gramps grabed a handfull of the oily leaves and shoved them into my mouth. I gagged & threw up. I tasted that for days , I even tried washing my mouth out with Dawn to remove the oil it was so bad. Guess I'm tramatized now, the thought of putting anything tobacco related into my mouth sickens me.

Unfortunatly, I started smoking when I was 16. I knew how bad it was for you even then, but I guess I thought it was "cool". Now I think it's discusting, but I'm adicted! I'm slowly cutting back on my nitotine, but it's really hard. As an adult now, there is no way I would just pick up and start smoking, but as a kid, you just go with what's "cool" (or what your friends say is "cool), and you dont' think about the long term conciquenses. When you're young you think your invinsable. I never thought I would get adicted to them or that I would still be smoking them years later and my teeth would have turned yellow and all that nasty stuff!!! Anyone who has never smoked before...don't even bother! It's NOT cool, it's not fun, and it's definatly not attractive!!!

I don't think I have ever come across a smoker that doesn't say they wish they had never started. I've been smoking for 12 years, since I was 13 years old. Had I known then what I know now.... of course I say that about many things! lol

I wish I never started smoking in the first place and can't for the life of me remember what made me decide to buy my first pack. I regret it so much and now I'm struggling while trying to quit. They are so addictive that it is pure hell to stop. I'm sick of my clean hair and clothes reeking of smoke, my stained fingernails, throwing money down the drain, and more importantly risking my health!

20 years later, i finally was able to quit,
no, I would not smoke
I started in 1986/1987 for a girl, in high school... go figure..
Smokes were about $1.00/pack (at gas stations), so pretty cheap compared to todays prices ($4.50/pack)

For anyone wanting to start, do yourself a favor, listen the adults for once, DONT START.

Cigarette Smoking is injurious to health. My humble suggestion is that International Trade of tobacco and its products should be banned. (Just as Cuban cigars are banned in US.)
