I am a gay male. I recenlty had anal sex for the first time with a guy that I have met up with for casual sex several times this summer. This was the first time I ever used a condom for any extented amount of time. I also used considerable about of lube. Which was pure glycerin, not KY or some other lube. I have heard that glycerin is bad for women and yeast infections. Would that have something to do it with it? Anyway right after having sex. I noticed that the base of my penis had a few small red blotches. I showered, but dont know if I washed really well since I showered with the guy that I had sex with. Furthermore, the redness has spred to the middle of my shaft. It doesn't itch at all and there are no symptoms of herpes or any other std, that I can tell. Also the reddness seems to orginate in the creases of my penis, when it is soft. It has been 4 days and i have yet to see any real improvement or any signs of it getting worse. Any ideas??

Frankly, whether it is an STD or not, you should get it checked out by a doctor. It could just be irritation, or it could be an STD. . Unfortunately, using a condom does not prevent skin-to-skin STD's, although I commend you for using one. You could also be allergic to latex, if you were using a latex condom

Herpes does not always show its symptoms, and you can still get it when you're not having a breakout.

Get it checked out. It can't hurt, can it?

if it isn't itchy, I doubt that it is yeast, most likely irritation from the condom. If it was a latex condom, then probably irritation from the condom. Use a bit of hydrocortisone cream on the red areas, rub it in well, lay off intercourse for at least a week and give it a chance to clear up. If after a week, the redness is still there, or at any time if it gets worse, see a doctor.

I got identified with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about five yrs ago, while I was still in college and had a mindless one-night stand. I understand lots of young ladies will declare this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/bayb6 everything got better.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the hsv from my body in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

Maybe you are allergic to the latex in the condoms.
