Soy, tofu, carrots, mushrooms, potatos, squash, tomatos, apples, walnuts, grapes, rasins, peanut butter, whole grain, bananas, oatmeal, lima beans, and black beans. Actually men's health magazine listed banana's, walnuts, oatmeal, and lima beans as some of the best muscle building foods out there. Just remember that if you are working on building strength don't forget flexibility. It helps stretch the muscles allowing them to increase the density and add more strength. I know guys have a ego thing about lifting weights and neglect their flexibility but if you really want to build strength and not just muscle mass I would suggest yoga about twice a week and some pilates for about 8 minutes a day to work your smaller supporting muscles.

Not sure what you mean by strength. Protein maybe... how about some seitan stir fried with veggies - or black beans and rice (beans and rice is a perfect protein) - also, if you eat cheese - cottage cheese has lots of protein. Take your B vitamins and keep eating your veggies and you will grow up to be big and strong.

Soy products, like said above, are so amazing for your body honestly. You can replace most of your dairy with things with soy. Soy milk, soy cheese. Sometimes the transition is scary, especially when going from gooey greasy morphine-filled dairy cheese to healthy soy cheese, but after a while, your brain starts to crave it and you'll want it, and it will help make you 'strong' like you asked :)

Quinoa. It's a nutritional powerhouse and a complete protein and is also high in calcium. . .as well as tons of other nutrients.

Veggies. Beans. Rice. Everything I suppose if you're getting enough. :)

Soybean and peanuts are both excellent proteins. But Soy is the best, bodybuilders and athletes use soybased products all the time to beef up and give energy.

Any type of beans or legumes are great! You can prepare them anyway you want. I enjoy simmering them in a crockpot and adding spices. The iron, protein and folate content is quite high! My fav is making mexican type dishes with them! Yum
