Its like asking if jumping off the 10th floor of a building is more dangerous or the 25th floor. For both the ultimate outcome (normally) is the same. Why jump in the first place. My sincere advise is to quit whatever you are smoking when the time's right. It would be impossible to do that later in life.I see people affected day in and day out.Its not worth it.Life is more precious and important.Hope you read the message and act accordingly.

I'm assuming you're talking about how good/bad for the lungs.
The actual evidence is a bit patchy, but from scientific research the following can be taken away.
Marijuana is in essence worse because of the way its typically smoked:
A cigarette smoker inhales, draws in the goodness, and exhales.
Marijuana smokers tend to hold the smoke in their lungs for longer, leading to a greater likelihood of respiratory problems, because the smoke is in the lungs for longer.
However, many smokers smoke in the region of 10-20 cigarettes a day, every day. While marijuana smokers usually don't smoke any where near as often. So it is all relative to how often / mow much you smoke.
Also marijuana has other side effects on the body (not just the lungs), some of which are not fully understood yet.

Generally, no. Marijuana itself about as many carcinogens (cancer-causing substances) as tobacco does, but tobacco products often have other poisons and tars added, which cause additional damage.
But there are other dangers from smoking marijuana as well. It can damage your mental health, respiratory system (smoking ANYTHING will damage your respiratory system, humans are not meant to breathe in smoke), put you at risk of lung cancer, heart attacks, strokes, and can have drastic effects on your memory. Memory deterioration in particular, can show up much faster than the effects caused by tobacco smoking.
Marijuana is an addictive substance. Say no to marijuana (if you are considering smoking it) so you won't have to go through the horrible withdrawal symptoms later.

"Given a cigarette of comparable weight, as much as four times the amount of tar can be deposited in the lungs of marijuana smokers as in the lungs of tobacco smokers." [p. 111]
"However, a marijuana cigarette smoked recreationally typically is not packed as tightly as a tobacco cigarette, and the smokable substance is about half that in a tobacco cigarette. In addition, tobacco smokers generally smoke considerably more cigarettes per day than do marijuana smokers." [Pp. 111, 112]
"There is no conclusive evidence that marijuana causes cancer in humans, including cancers usually related to tobacco use. … More definitive evidence that habitual marijuana smoking leads or does not lead to respiratory cancer awaits the results of well-designed case control epidemiological studies." [p. 119]

I hate people who think of they understand the hazards of marijuana. a million joint is worse than a million cigarette. a million Joint is much better than a %. of cigarettes inspite of the indisputable fact that. yet marijuana is a lot greater properly worth it. Marijuana would not have many undesirable effects in any respect. extremely if smoked as quickly as a week. I doubt which you might even see any undesirable effects from smoking marijuana as quickly as a week in case you probably did it the the remainder of your existence. yet once you smoked a %. of cigarettes as quickly as a week you may probably start to observe the undesirable effects that it had on you interior of many years. If marijuana is smoked out of a bong inspite of the indisputable fact that, then many of the tar is removed from it which makes it lots safer than any quantity of cigarettes. extremely via fact a bong makes marijuana stronger which ability you will desire to smoke under you may would desire to from a joint or pipe.

Cigarettes have tar as an ingredient which has been linked to lung cancer, emphysema, and other ailments. Like other suggestions, nothing of the sort can be found in marijuana. Besides, marijuana that is medicinal has been known to cure such ailments as hepatitis and MS. Have you ever heard of medicinal cigarettes?
