You basically cant leave. A"lock in" your stuck in the building or house or whatever it is for the nite.

Like skating rinks will have lock ins. You arrive at a certain time, say 10 pm, then your allowed to leave in the morning, say 8 am. The only way you can leave is if your parents come get you

A Lock-In is a sleepover held at a public place, a church, or a school, even as a birthday! The point is to be ready for an emergency, like a hurricane, threat, or serious storm. What you do is bring sleepover supplies (sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, toothbrush, etc) and sleepover at a persons house or the public place. You are normally not allowed to leave the premisise, it depends on the host of the lock-in.

Hope i helped!

A lock in is basically a party where you stay the night and no one is allowed to leave until a specific time.

Its done a lot by the girl scouts and/or boy scounts. Basically they throw a big party in a gym and everyone has to stay "locked in" all night. At a certain time the next day people can start leaving.

It means that you are "locked in". Literally. They take you to a place and keep you there. There is adult supervision. You are not allowed to leave. Usually there are various activities planned. In some cases it may even be an "overnighter". Sounds like fun!
