I've never heard of Tuno.
Yes there is another and it's amazing! You can hardly tell the difference if at all. It's from Taiwan and found frozen in Asian markets. Taiwan has the best fake animal products out there. Here's one company: http://www.nbp.com Some companies of those ham logs have whey in the ingredients, so check if you care, but the tuna is A-OK. It's available in the USA, Canada, and many other countries too.

Meatless Select makes Fishless Tuna. It can be addictive. Their web site is http://atlanticnaturalfoods.com/product/vegetarian-fishless-tuna/
Amazon has a sample pack of their products. The Tuna can be addictive if you aren't careful. :).

Chick peas are a great substitute. I was never one for all the diced up things in my tuna/egg/ or macaroni salads, so the way I make this is pretty simple.
I use a can of drained chickpeas
veganaise (mayo if you eat eggs) 1/4 cup is the recommendation.
Chopped scallions
(you can try adding chopped kale or seaweed for the fishy flavor.
Eat on toast.
Yum!
p.s. Lots of vegetarians like things that resemble meat dishes. Just because someone decide that killing and eating animals is wrong doesn't mean they don't want to eat dishes similar to what they grew up eating and enjoying.
Vegetarians do not eat animals. Even if we eat food that looks or tastes somewhat similar, we are still sticking to our moral beliefs.
:)

Ugh, tuno was so bad! LOL I didn't know they discontinued it. Maybe someone will come out with a similar product?
I'd imagine you could use firm tofu with some Old Bay seasoning to do a tuna-like substance... And, of course, there's always TVP.

I make "funa" (fake tuna) out of TVP.
Rehydrate the TVP using veggie broth. Add to it a LARGE kombu leaf. Kombu is a sea weed. Gives it that fishy flavor. If you want it extra fishy - then rehydrate your TVP over a low heat in a sauce pan. It works well enough throwing everything in a bowl and leaving it on the counter... but heating makes the seaweed flavor more pronounced.
Drain it, remove the kombu and fix it up just the way you would regular tuna. Vegennaise and capers for me.
If you want a Funa Melt - then heat the drained TVP without vegennaise and top with soy cheese.
Kombu is easy to find in your grocer's Asian section.

I never had tuno so I dont replace it. It's sounds gross anyway LOL. There is a natural food market near me and they have various vegan salads made with TVP and they are fantastic..so when I am in the mood for something like that..I buy it.

Recently, I made some Sesame seed milk. The remianing pulp looked a lot like tuna from a can! As for seasoning it, I haven't gotten that part down yet. It's worth a try if you're adventurous!

Sylvia, why are you defending the meat-eaters when you are a Vegan?
Regardless, I'm vegan and I eat meat-substitutes on occasion just for flavor. Like eating the real thing, without the downsides of killing an animal :)
