I am having my 12 birthday party and it will be in a couple of weeks. It will be a pool party and will be about 3 hours long. What are some good games we could play?

Human string relay,dessert race, musical partners,
Human string relay- tie a spoon to the end of a ball of yarn. you will need two teams for this game. line up both teams single file.when the host/hostess says go,the person holding the ball of yarn will take the spoon and put it down his-her shirt as well as their pants,when the spoon comes out the pants leg it will be passed to the next player.(As it is still attached to the first player)when it has gone through the entire line and everyone is attached then the last person at the end of the line must reverse the process,while the first player winds the string back into a ball as it comesout of each players clothing.when the first player has winded the string back into a ball they shout out DONE!!the first team to finish winding it back into a ball wins.
Dessert Race-have each guest to pick a partner
blindfold and line up each of the partners on one side, on the other side the partners that are not blindfolded will line up across from their partner with a bowl or cup of icecream in their hands and a spoon.The partner with the icecream and spoon will take a spoonful of icecream and walk to their partner with the spoon of icecream being held between their teeth and feed their blindfolded partner. This game has to be played with no hands involved.The first to finish all their icecram wins.
This is a good game to play if you are wanting people to dance at your party
Musical Partners- you will need an even# of people for this game. The odd person or host can be the one to stop the music.Turn on some music,begin game by selecting 2 people to dance with each other(fast & slow)have someone to turn music off at different intervals,and tell the two people dancing to select new partners after they have done a fast song and a slow song. continue to play the game and select new partners until everyone is dancing.
All these games can be played outside

Twelve year old hummmm- have a beach ball and , other pool toys available ----then just stay in the background.
My pre teens never really wanted me to exist much less be involved tn their party. Just keep the food coming Mom.
